Self meditation on this Thursday. In my opinion, this earth is perfect (snow, rain, sunrays, hot air, cold breeze, nature, animals, beaches, fruits and ect.) but society isn't. Especially when it comes to not trying to fit us in this box of it's own idea of "Perfection. . So many times we get told we aren't good enough! Most of us end up losing our hair trying to please society and end up in a box of people's view of perfection. . Truth of the matter is. You need to please yourself first and foremost. . Society also fills our brain with nonsense. Stuff to keep us occupied, under a spell to waste our time! Video games with no real meaning at the end filling children with rage and wasting their time. Tv-shows and movies with propaganda so bad that we end up thinking life is nothing more than Fast cars, Money, Fashionable clothes, Sex, Physical love, New technology or worse that there is no God. . Don't fall for the trap of this society. Use your time wisely Good actions weighs better than binge watching tv-shows because you're bored. And most of the stuff in those shows/movies/music videos are beautified but aren't gonna satisfy you. The grass is not greener on the other side. Simplicity, acceptation and love for others are the keys of this world. . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . . #love#simplicity#propaganda#dmt#illusion#god#sexuality#goodactions#bonneaction#quebec#toronto#southafrica#asia#philipines#melanin#gym#workout#leggings#lightworker#angel#spiritguide#mucus#astrology#islam#judaism#christianity#psychic#nwo#illuminati#got
Only a few more days until our Spring Conference! “Identity” asks who we are, to what and to whom we belong, and how we are to regard others. Identity influences politics, racial attitudes, gender choices, attitudes toward rich and poor, immigrants and citizens, and religious views. Please join us as our presenters, Sheikh Mohammad Elshinawy, Rabbi Michael Singer and Dr. James D. Jackson, combine their knowledgeable leadership in their respective faith communities to begin deeper conversations and develop activities that will reflect God’s gifts of justice and mercy. Formerly called “Christians and Muslims Talking Together”, our new title “Interfaith Dialogue” signals that the series includes Christian, Jewish, and Muslim perspectives. Naturally, we cheerfully encourage all communities to join in the Conference. This series is brought to you by Respect Graduate School, Moravian Theological Seminary, Bethlehem Interfaith Group, and the Lehigh Dialogue Center. Link in bio to register!
This question is a fun one to examine and is also a topic I believe many people try to avoid. As society continues to embrace a relativistic worldview, many people are adopting the idea that all truths and beliefs are equally valid (this being different than tolerance towards a different view). This has made its way into religion as well but is it logical? __ There are over 3,000 religions in the world, each one makes distinct claims to the nature of the world, mankind, God/gods/lack of a deity, an afterlife/reincarnation/lack of an afterlife, etc. They all make absolute truth claims. __ When we take a step back and properly analyze this question, we’ll quickly come to the understanding that if even 2 religions out of the thousands that exist contradict one another in any one way, the claim that all religions somehow leading to God or a centralized truth, is false, contradictory, and illogical. __ The real question is which claims of truth from the differing world religions are absolute? This leads us to the main point of this article; Many religions claim truth but which one’s claim to truth is absolute? Link to the full article is in my bio if you’re interested in seeing my thoughts on the question. . . . . . #himitsustudy#apologetics#christianapologetics#religion#buddhism#christianity#islam#hinduism#judaism#tolerance#worldreligions#muslim#hindu#christian#gospel
Chag Sameach from Jerusalem! The Hurva Synagogue is one of the Old City’s most famous landmarks with a long and fascinating history. The original synagogue was built on this site in the early 18th Century by a group of European Jews led by Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid, after whom they named the building. The community was desperately poor and in 1720 when they were unable to repay their debts, local Arabs burnt the synagogue down as revenge. Over the next hundred years new buildings sprung up all around but the site of the synagogue lay in ruins, and became known as “Hurvat Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid” - The Ruin of Rabbi Yehuda HeHasid. More to follow next week - enjoy the last days of Pesach and Shabbat Shalom! . . . . . #chag#sameach#chagsameach#pesach#passover#kosher#pesachsameach#jerusalem#oldcity#israel#kotel#westernwall#synagogue#shul#hurva#architecture#holy#jews#judaism#shabbat#shabbatshalom
Refraining from eating chametz (bread and other leavened foods) for a week can become perfunctory for many of us. After a few days, we lose the excitement and spiritual uplift of the seder and it’s difficult to find spiritual meaning in our restrictive diet. One way to find more meaning in the full week-long holiday is to think about bread and leavened items as a symbol for something in our moral character.... Read more at leahrichman.blogspot.com

RABBI AKIVAS CURE FOR ANXIETY This idea of staying rational in times of distress is profoundly Jewish. Do you remember that little song we sang in kindergarten? "The whole world is a narrow bridge, and the most important thing is never to be afraid" ("Kol Ha'olam Kulo Gesher Tsar Meod Veha'ikar Lo Lefa'hed Klal"). Rabbi Akiva practiced this therapy for thousands of years before it was born. "Everything is for good," he said constantly. When we internalize this phrase and make it our way of thinking, acting, living, we have no reason to feel the slightest anguish. We calm ourselves by saying that, in any case, no matter what I do or do not do, I have no power, everything is in the hands of the Creator, and, much more, all that He will do. will be done for my good. You probably all know this story, but let me remind you of it briefly. At the time, Rabbi Akiva had only possessions, a donkey, a rooster, and a candle. One night, while traveling and the nearest village had refused him hospitality, he resigned himself to spending the night in the forest. The wind blew, extinguished the candle and carried with it its reassuring light. The donkey which served him as a means of transport was devoured by a lion, and the rooster, his "alarm clock," was eaten by a cat. At each of these trials, which should have been, or at least could have been, anxiety, Rabbi Akiva calmly said, "All that Hashem does, He does for good". And it was only in the early morning, when he saw that the village had been attacked by robbers during the night, that these words made full sense, not in his eyes, because he was already convinced but in the eyes of the world, who would have been quick to judge this succession of facts, as a bad luck that persists in this poor man. Human nature wants the individual to complain, to feel sorry for himself, to see the glass half empty. But if one trains oneself to say this sentence: “All is for good”, to think and feel it, one has the keys to true

Jesus’ living water is the holy spirit. The holy spirit will guide you and strengthen your frame. He will refresh the weary soul and replenish all who are weak. Seek Jesus and let him guide you through the holy spirit!
In prayer, we often approach God by asking for our own will to be done rather than asking for Gods will for us to be done. God’s purpose is higher than your purpose. Lay down your will for the perfect will of God
Stay in Jesus and let Jesus’ word stay in you. He will shape our desires and our thoughts through the Holy spirit so that our wishes and his are increasingly the same. Joy does not spring from Jesus giving us what we want, but Jesus being what we want.
