These two are just the cutest. Seriously, I am so blessed with the best. Olivia really doesn’t like bedtime. She does everything she can to distract us and delay sleep. She makes Anthony walk her around so she can say bye bye to everything before bed. I literally mean everything. She says bye to me, her doggy, the Christmas tree, the front door, and her last stop is her stocking. Anthony is so patient and loves to make his rounds with her. It’s now his favorite part of their bedtime routine. Too cute.
Gosh, I sure do love this sweet girl - especially her love for her books. Every morning when I walk in to her room to get her she points to her book shelf and says “want that”. Then, the second her little legs hit the ground she runs over to grab one. Too darn cute! Who else has a little book lover on their hands?
If you ever come to my house and I’m not home, then I seriously suggest you look at @target next. Olivia love to go to Target and roam the aisles just letting Target tell us what we need. Seriously though, we went to Target for a gingerbread house and ended up clearing out the @crayola aisle and snagging some good snacks. Does that ever happen to anybody else?
Another day another Christmas tree. Now I’ve been commissioned to decorate my parents Christmas tree. Oh well, I love decorating! I’m so glad my parents found these adorable felt ornaments that are safe for my daughter to explore. If you’re decorating your tree around toddlers, then you have to try felt ornaments. They are a game changer! What are some precautions you take to make your decorations safer for children?

This weekend we were able to check one of our Christmas traditions off the list when we built our gingerbread house. This year, we decided to mix things up a little bit by making a gingerbread train. I’m pretty proud of this little train. It was so fun mixing things up and trying something new. You can see a full list of our family Christmas traditions by clicking the link in my bio. What’s your favorite a holiday tradition?
Jeremiah is 4 months old and I'm in disbelief; How is he 4 months already?! This month has been so much fun to watch as he grows. Jeremiah is reaching for and holding objects for a bit longer than before, he is working on rolling over from front to back and we've even seen some effort to go back the opposite way, and is continuing to communicate through sweet smiles, eye contact, and lots of babbling. Jeremiah enjoys playing in his mat, spending time with Mommy and Daddy, and milk (this is not a new development, but it certainly is still a favorite of his!)! We love you so much Jeremiah ❤️ What an incredible joy you are! #4monthsold#babybabble#milk#rollingover#joyfulbaby#cantbelieveitsalmostchristmas

The Christmas spirit is strong in our house! We’ve already set up the Christmas tree, played ornament sort, made cookies, made a Christmas tree with stickers, and sang all our favorite jams. Next on the list is snuggling up in bed with my favorite girl and watching a Christmas movie. What movie should we watch? What’s your favorite?
This little cutie and I are having the best December day ever. We’re jamming to Christmas music and making some homemade sugar cookies. Yum! Does anyone else feel like Christmas is just so much better once you have kids? I love watching it through the eyes of my daughter!
It’s finally December and that means Christmas is in full swing here at the Mendoza household. Tonight, I’m sipping on my favorite tea from my Santa mug and wrapping some gifts for my best gal. Are you wondering what I got her for Christmas? Check out my holiday gift guide for toddlers to find out! You can find the link for it in my bio. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ PS - Did you know that this mug was passed down from my mother? We drank hot cocoa from these mugs every year on Christmas morning. I’m so glad to have them in my house now and to share that tradition with my family!
5 months... it doesn’t seem that long, yet somehow it seems like I have known her forever. My little Pearl is 5 months old today! Every day she amazes me with her ability to not only meet but exceed each and every challenge that arises. This past month she aced her PT assessment, found her voice (my girl loves to talk) and learned the art of crawling. Today she decided she needs to sit up and has begun figuring out how to master that little trick. She smiles for just about everything, but thinks any adult blowing bubbles is worthy of a belly laugh! She thinks Laya’s hair is amazing and likes to tangle her fingers in it - Laya is learning tolerance, and so far so good! She loves all things music and people, and really enjoys Mommy’s phone - FaceTiming with her bestie, Charlotte, is high on her faves list! She remains the easiest, most joyful baby I have ever met - and that’s not just because God gifted her to me - it’s the truth! Happy 5 months, my little Pearl! May you continue to be filled with joy in the months and years ahead! #family#5monthsold#kenleychristinenoel#adoption#babygirl#rosiebabystory#becomingmommy #praisegodfromwhomallblessingsflow #joyfulbaby

Having Ransom and going to seemingly endless appointments- rehearsing his history multiple times being sure not to miss a detail has been emotional to say the least. The heavy appointment weeks get me in a funk, and I have to remind myself of truth. . This sweet boy is a mystery in some ways to me and to his doctors, BUT he is not a mystery to God. The way he was created was on purpose and every atom of his being designed by His Creator. . I don’t know why God ordains hard things, but I can be confident that it is growing in us perseverance, character, and hope. I don’t want to waste a bit of it—to God be the glory! . Please continue to pray for us as a family as we walk through Ransom’s tests, therapies, and evaluations in the coming weeks. . Also... swipe to get a virtual hug and tickle from Ran the Man 😂😂😂
The best gift anyone could ever give me is to get to see Christmas through my daughter’s eyes. I’ve always loved Christmas, but getting to celebrate with my daughter has made this year even more magical. Our tree may not be picture perfect and by the end of the day there may be more ornaments on the floor than on the tree, but this is my favorite Christmas tree yet.
Like many other toddlers, our daughter loves her ball pit. In fact, it’s by far her favorite toy. She plays with it almost every day. Her love for her ball pit is what inspired me to write my latest blog post. Tonight on the blog I’m sharing 5 different ways to play with ball pit balls. I’m sharing some really great activities! So, be sure to click the link in my bio to check it out.
If you’ve been following us for a while, then you know we are huge book lovers in this house. That’s why I was so excited to see that our @turkeyonthetable came with a children’s book. This book is a great way to explain this gratitude activity to children. I’m thrilled to get to add this awesome book to our collection. To read my full review of Turkey on the Table just click the link in my bio!
Just a couple of cool kids out enjoying Olivia’s first snow! She didn’t quite know what to think of it, but after a while she started to warm up to the idea. She really enjoyed it when her daddy started throwing snow balls at me. I’m not joking when I say I’m raising two toddlers over here 😂. How did your kids handle their first snow? Was it a blast or a bust? Let me know!
Thanksgiving this year was very special for us because it was the first one we got to celebrate with our daughter. To mark this special occasion, we decided to start a new Thanksgiving tradition with @turkeyonthetable. Turkey on the Table provided us with a great family bonding experience and a fun way to practice gratitude. I can’t wait to do this again next year and make more memories with my little family. Check out the link in my bio to see the full review.
