New on #charismaconnection Why the Church Must Embrace the Mystery of Healing 👉Spirit-filled Pastor Bob Sawvelle says that while the church generally dislikes theological tension, the Bible is full of tensions and mysteries in the kingdom of God. And that includes the concept of divine healing. While some in the church discount the notion that God still heals today, Sawvelle, founder and senior pastor of Passion Church in Tucson, Arizona, is a firm believer in God's healing power. But he also believes healing is a paradox, and that while many receive physical, emotional and mental healing this side of eternity, not everyone will. "It is a mystery, but it does not nullify the goodness of God or His healing nature," Sawvelle said on a recent episode of "Charisma Connection" on the Charisma Podcast Network. "While God is a healer, not all will be healed. It's just like salvation. God's desire is that all will be saved or reconciled to Him through Christ's atoning work on the cross, yet not all will receive God's free gift of grace and be saved. 👉To listen to the episode visit the link in our bio and select this post. GOD EQUALS LOVE! ➡ HE WHO DOES NOT LOVE, DOES NOT KNOW GOD, FOR GOD IS LOVE! (1 John 4:8) ➡ The Lord appeared to us in the past, saying: “I HAVE LOVED YOU with an EVERLASTING LOVE; I have drawn you with unfailing kindness. (Jeremiah 31:3)
And no religion can save you. For it is by grace through faith that we are saved not even our good works so we can't boast. Just call upon the name of the Lord, most High. He is waiting. . . #jesussaves
. In college, I remember having to memorize the Black-Scholes model in order to pass a corporate finance class. It's a highly complicated model with embedded formulas and equations. I no longer remember the model, but I do remember my professor— Dr. Tan. . Dr. Tan was a genius. He took a personal interest in my success and life. He challenged me to work on things I was uncomfortable doing and always said it would make me better. We kept in contact after graduation, and he made sure I was doing well and was representing Morgan proudly. . This was Jesus’ mantra. He always addressed an individual's immediate need before teaching them. He realized people didn’t care how much you knew, till they knew how much you cared. We see this with how Jesus deals with the sick, rejected, adulterous, and those who are hungry. . If you're interested in really impacting someone's life, treat them kindly. Treat them how you would like to be treated and you'll have a friend for life. . “Therefore, as God's elect, holy and beloved, put on tender mercies, kindness, humility, meekness, longsuffering; bearing with one another, and forgiving one another, as Christ forgave you, so you also must do. But above all these things put on love, which is the bond of perfection.” Colossians 3:12-14 NKJV . #god#jesus#holyspirit#religion#faith#believe#jesuschrist#jesussaves#christian#bible#verseoftheday#biblestudy#godislove#christ#inspiration#hope#quotes#scripture#grace#pray#amen#art#peace#spiritual#spirituality#godlove#love#quoteoftheday#nyc#church
