The holidays are our favorite time of year, not only because of Thanksgiving & Christmas, but also because all of our birthdays are at the end of the year 😂 So this time of year is a special time for us, it’s a time we feel thankful for and make a big deal out of. This week we just want to talk about gratitude and what the Word says about givings thanks. | “Give thanks to the Lord, for he is good; his love endures forever.” —1 Chronicles 16:34 🍂 We are so thankful for getting to the near end of the year, for our families, for ministry. Read this very carefully....... We wounder why evil ppl continue to be evil without any regret........well.........here is the answer. If you beling to God, you WILL receive correction and you WIL adhere to it.
Put an empty chair somewhere in your house where it is private, invite Jesus to sit there, and talk to Him. I will say again, as I have said many times, “He will be as real to you as you allow Him to be.” Does He want to be real to you? Oh, definitely! He wants us to be so very comfortable in His presence that we address Him as “Poppa” or “Daddy”. Of course this very intimate approach will be a learning process, but don’t give up. Think! He is your best friend! He is in your presence constantly! He loves you more than you can possibly imagine! He’s holding your hand! So those times when I long for someone to listen to me without scolding or preaching; those times when I am so very lonely or isolated in the hospital: those times when I would love to have someone just let me lean against his chest and he would slip his arm tenderly around my shoulder and say, “I understand, dear one, I understand.” I have that! You have that! Anabel Gillham
