When a second little girl came along, I felt like I was given the same baby again just reincarnated - then they get grew up and personalities developed Daughter no 1 Let's frolic in the surf Daughter no 2 Let's dig some shit up with my yellow spade
It hit 18 degrees this weekend in Dublin, for non English and Irish folk, we're usually in single digits (if not minus nos) at this stage in the year. Lots of swimmers were braving the sea at Seapoint, our favoured spot for city sea swimming during the heatwave this Summer. We'd go early morning with the Kids (see above) at weekends. But best of all Mr P and I would go for a dusk dip all on our own and it literally felt like Clovelly and Sydney (minus the Avo and Active wear 😂) before our mini lunatics came along.
Whatever you decide to do, make sure it makes ye happy! The older I get, the more I realize that a "peace of mind" is the MOST important thing. If a relationship, diet, hobby, job or lifestyle is no longer bringin' ye happiness, it's never too late to change things around. Surround yourself with people who feel like a breath of fresh, and embrace in things that make ye excited to wake up every single morning ❤️ It's great to re-evaluate your life, the people in it, and whether everything still fits 4 wat ye currently need - those things still fit for the person you want to become! - It's NEVER too late and you're never too old for change, especially if it's going to make you a better and happy person. Have y'all a blessed week 💕 Edit: Do not do anything without ask to God what is His plan in your life. He knows all your needs and what's the best way to move forward without fail ❤
Thank you @tonyandjens I love this! We have been conditioned in so many ways we don't know what's real anymore. I remember when I was at secondary school the push was for you to go university - didn't matter what you studied the fact you got in made you look good and the fact you got in coming from a secondary school made the school look good. Studying the likes of beauty 👄, hospitality or a trade was beneath you (people I'd be lost without btw). However I would never critiscise my secondary school I got an exceptional education there. This was just how we were all conditioned to think 🙄👈 I think of how we as women have been conditioned to wear make up but not too much, never be seen first thing in the morning, have 2 kids but not 4 kids, work but not too much, wear clothes but not too little...the list goes on. Return to your younger self 👩🎤 before you discovered make up, before you thought about having to figure out what job you were going to do for life. The younger you's hopes and dreams are stripped back, bare faced and as achievable as what they are today. Love yourself, love your skin 💋@Madonna xx
