[Mid-week INSPO] ☘️ . . .Currently setting up a mood board for an upcoming residential interiors project i am working on, and while researching for inspiration/ideas I often gravitate towards my absolute liking for Chinoserie, which blends in superbly with a contemporary aesthetic/setting!!! . . .And so while doing so, I came across this beautifully curated page by Maura Jane Interiors, showcasing prettiest vignettes, and amazing collection of home accents!! This image speaks to me immensely with the perfect green wall hue, layering done right with classic chic prints, books and ofcourse the peek-a-boo Chinease urn ⚱️ . . .Who else loves a mix of some Chinoiserie-chic infused modern interiors!!?!!! I DO!! 💙 . . @maurajaneinteriors

It’s been a hectic few weeks finishing uni and starting a new job, but the fact peonies are in season makes it a lot more bearable! 🌸💗 also picked up these new eco placemats from @waitroseandpartners made by @ashortwalkltd ❤️
This is what I’m sat looking at. What I should be looking at is a sander in my hand in the back garden whilst stripping the last little bits of paint off the 3 remaining doors so that I can finally say that I’ve finished ALL the doors and they’re back hung in the holes that they live in. But this is where I’m sat. Being a lazy shit.
I have one side of the mirrored closet door upgrade complete 👌🏽 I was really excited about this project bc I’m just not a fan of the giant mirrored closet doors present in every. Single. Room. Of our house. I had no idea what to do to upgrade them when we moved in bc most of the options I was seeing weren’t drastically better, & would also cost a fortune to to replace just one room- let alone the 10 total doors. Insert @angelarosehome with her DIY for upgrading these things 🙌🏼🙌🏼🙌🏼 The only thing I did different was instead of using plywood, I bought peel & stick laminate flooring- which can be cut with a utility knife (honesty I wanted a project I could do completely on my own & I haven’t learned my way around a power tool yet). I have the second set in this room to finish up & I’ll be done 👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼 & for under $100 to do all 4 doors 😁😊😁 When I tackle the next room, there are just a few things I’ll do differently. I think I would paint the tracks so they are less noticeable & the sides of the doors themselves. Black tracks and door sides would have made a sleeker finish In this space- but you do & you learn, right? Hopefully I’m able to finish the 3rd door today- just need to run to Lowes. 🤷🏼♀️🙈
Design is a journey of discovery. Lacuna for #texturetuesday 〰️ The unlikely combination of Lacuna's two textures begins with a plush cotton velvet, using heat and pressure, we then fuse a foil into the fabric’s rich surface. This creates a pattern meteoric in appearance and luxurious to touch. #innovationsusa | Lacuna, Spring 2019 Collection
