𝗗𝗘𝗖𝗜𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦⠀ ⠀ Do you make your decisions based on your feelings or your identity? ⠀ ⠀ Broadly, people can be grouped into two categories. At different points in time everyone will find their self in both group. The important part is recognizing/identify when you are one or the other.⠀ ⠀ 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 - 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧𝐬 - 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲- allowing your feelings to dictate you actions and identity.⠀ ⠀ 𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑒: you feel sad/stressed/angry, you act accordingly, and the more you continue to do so it becomes your identity. These are those moments when you go to workout, finish a project at work, or eat right and you don’t FEEL like it so you slack, cut corners, and give less than your best effort.⠀ ⠀ 𝐈𝐝𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐢𝐭𝐲 - 𝐀𝐜𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 - 𝐅𝐞𝐞𝐥𝐢𝐧𝐠𝐬 -lead by identity allowing actions and feelings to follow. Regardless of how you feel, you take the necessary actions to work towards your goals or your “WHY”. ⠀ ⠀ 𝑒𝑥𝑎𝑚𝑝𝑙𝑒: you wake up tired but to head to the gym and give it 100%. You had a long day but you choose to finish your project anyways.⠀ ⠀ Everyone can be mentally tough when they feel great. Everyone can perform when they feel confident. The question is can you do it when you don’t feel good. It is these moments that matter.⠀ ⠀ The more you do something, the more likely you are to do it again. Give up when it gets hard? It will only get easier next time. Push through when adversity hits? Your will be better equipped to do the same again in the future.⠀ ⠀ Be more in control with how you act and feel. Find your identity and your “WHY” and act on those. ⠀ ⠀ 𝘔𝘰𝘷𝘦 𝘔𝘰𝘳𝘦, 𝘍𝘦𝘦𝘭 𝘉𝘦𝘵𝘵𝘦𝘳⠀⠀ ⠀ -𝘓𝘰𝘨𝘢𝘯 𝘋𝘦𝘳𝘰𝘪𝘯 - I heard this concept on @justinsua ‘s podcast “Increase
Today’s workshop is about mapping messages and activities to audiences. When our main role is to support other enterprises, it’s important to understand what they need as well as what we are, realistically and repeatedly, able to provide. Which activities advance our own goals as actors in a bigger entrepreneurial ecosystem? Everyone has to move forward to make the system self-sustaining.
MY WHY!!! It’s long over due! I love physical therapy and being a coach. But I haven’t told you all why!! I do not care about numbers or results. I care about pushing people towards fitness, like the REAL stuff. Decrease BP, great nutrition, able to move their bodies without pain limiting, THATS MY WHY!! Now tell me YOURS!!!
