It’s very unlike me but I’m heading out on a Monday night. It’s sometimes nice to start the week off with plans so I’m heading for dinner and drinks with friends and then to see La La Land at the @belmontfh 🎥 The film, which I’ve only seen snippets of in the past, is being shown as part of a local jazz festival and I can’t wait to watch it properly this time round (tickets gifted by @belmontfh) #monday#aberdeen#lalaland
I do love a good door and this one also ticks the box with some iron work and that nice wood chess set tray leaning up against the entry. It wouldn't be right to cut out the infamous 'blue' plastic plumbing😉

Day 25 of #marchmeetthemaker is 'how its made' so I'll tell you a bit about my approach to couples portraits since it's really the only 'staged' part of my wedding day coverage. Firstly, I spend a lot of time walking and exploring, being careful to pay attention to things I like - nice light, interesting architecture, cute backdrops etc - and I almost always imagine those scenes with a couple in them. The day before Cyndi & Max's wedding, I'd been wandering around Marylebone, familiarising myself with the area when I spotted these doors. I liked the symmetry, the colours, the shape & the tiles and, as it was on the way from their church to the reception venue, we stopped en route, took this snap & it'll always be one of my faves! ❤️
