💐💐💐 My birthday week ended last night with a birthday dinner thrown by my family on Mr. M’s side. Last week was definitely a birthday week to remember. I felt so loved and cherished by all the people that came together last week. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ☕️☕️ This morning I finally took the time to sit down and journal about last week, reflect on this past year, and think about what I wanted for this next year of life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 📝 A few things I enjoyed learning over the last year: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌷 Vulnerability gets harder and harder but more and more important. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌷 Counseling is hard work, but it is SO important to do some good heart work in order to become whole. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌷 Be intentional about who you surround yourself with and let speak into your life. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🌷 It's OK to rejoice in your successes. I learned this year that I not only love painting, but I'm pretty good at painting, and it's OK that I am proud of the work that I do! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Thank you to all who helped me celebrate my birthday last week with your kind words, your investment into my classroom library, and just by your presence in my life! I am a very blessed woman. 🤗💕
Feeling those Monday blues and wishing I could rewind time back to our trip! Anyone else not happy about this rainy Monday morning? 🌊 I feel like this is the hardest part about going on vacation. It’s not the countless hours you plan and save for it, but the moment you have to snap back into reality. I’m just happy I have photos like these to relive the memory. 🌊 Anyway, I wanted to ask your opinion! I had a few people asking me to post where we went/ how long. Would you like me to share this on my story? I hope I haven’t bombarded you with to many photos already!! 😂
To celebrate City of Perth's #winterfestperth, we've crafted the El Jugo De Elsa... a cheeky concoction of @donjuliotequila Blanco, Curaçao, lime & pineapple juice - complete with icing sugar rim, toasted marshmallow & cinnamon dust. So good you won't want to Let It Go. Launching today, this little cracker is only around until July 21! ❄️💙🔥
[ K O N A W A V E ] Bart and I delivered this custom commission to a client in Evansville. This is their second commission and I’m thankful for returning customers. ▫️ This piece took time and love in order to attain the look and feel of a realistic wave made with resin. I had to experiment and try new techniques through trial and error, but in the end this piece consisted of 5 layers and I love how they all come through adding depth and texture💜 ▫️ After some measuring and adjusting, we hung Kona on the wall and took a step back. It fits perfectly in their space and I’m thrilled they have their very own Kona🌊🌺 ▫️ They were kind enough to let us tour their farm filled with chickens, roosters, dogs and sent us on our way with enough vegetables to feed a small army🥕🌽🥬 I will be arranging a dinner party soon! ▫️ On our way home we stopped to see the USS-LST 325–the last fully operational WWII Landing Ship Tank. As we pulled up, we found an outdoor bar along the river and as we cheered our beers, fighter planes flew right over our heads and we enjoyed an awesome plane show. ▫️ Today was a beautiful day full of pleasant surprises and I hope you all had a wonderful weekend too💕 ▫️ “Kona Wave” Resin on canvas. 30in x 60in SOLD CUSTOM COMMISSION
Maranda Holmes Street, Westside, Charleston▪️One of my favorite streets in Charleston. Honestly, I don’t know why. There’s nothing particularly special about it. Maybe that’s why I like it; it forces you to find beauty in the mundane.
