Opting for the less heavy traditional Italian selections and having wafu style spaghetti instead. Loving the delicate fusion of spicy cod roe and shiso flavours and that bit of butter lemon sauce acidity. Their carbonara is also super yummy!

Homemade Detroit-style pan pizza. Detroit means burnt cheese around the edges which I sprinkled around the raw dough pre-bake. Great crumb & nice golden bottom (see final slide) but this was a little too much dough for the pan resulting in less room for air bubbles to form and a denser pizza than I would have liked. This was an 18-inch dough in a 12-inch pan. I oiled the pan, pressed the dough toward the edges of the pan lightly being careful not to overwork and then I covered it with aluminum foil and a cutting board to proof (rise) at around 70 degrees for 5 hours. It got a nice rise but I think It was also a bit tough because I overcooked it by pre-baking it without cheese or sauce on top for 5 min bottom shelf at 500. It was great for the bottom but the top also toughened resulting in cheese that was more of a hat atop the dough than a conjoined being of melty oneness. Thanks to @radtimespizza crew & @mamas_too for initial guidance. Dough purchased from @umbertosplainview. If you buy dough get it from a pizza shop not the supermarket. A t u l e a // Peach Jasmine Cheese Tea. Yeah, 🧀. It’s topped with a frothy layer of milk, cream cheese, whipping cream + a pinch of salt and sugar. 10/10 wouldn’t complain if I had this every day because it was pretty damn good. 🤪 The shop is cute and the owners were so kind! Looking forward to trying their matcha options next. Cheers!
