As you can see shrinkage has no respect😩 This is how I stretch my air dried washngo. I used the @lovelottabody illuminate me shine mist, this product made my fro smell soo good and gave me incredible shine😍 Song- Issa snack @nessapreppy
I wanted to do something different for #maskmonday I usually share a video on how I mask but I'm pretty sure you guys know my routine by now 😂 So here I am sharing my top 6 favorite deep conditioners/ hair masks, all of these offer different benefits some are protein pack and some are super moisturizing. 1. @trepadoracurltherapy Quinoa Repair Deep Conditioner This deep conditioner is packed with protein and my hair loves it. Every time I apply this I know I'm going to have tight soft curls. If you are protein sensitive you may want to stay away. It has a great slip and my hair absorbs it Key Ingredients: Quinoa Protein, Organic Coconut Oil & Organic Peruvian Inca Inchi Oil 2. @bymadebeautiful True Intense Treatment Masque This masque is super moisturizing and it helped me out a lot when I was having a bit of protein over load. Low porosity hair tends to love it. Key Ingredients: Shea butter, Honey, coconut, and mango 3. @inahsinaturals Mango Hemp Restorative Hair Masque Deep Conditioner The reason why I love this is because it's the perfect balance between humectants and protein. Keeps my hair balanced:) Key Ingredients: Hemp oil, Silk Amino Acids 4. @embracethecurl_ Strengthen My Uniqueness Masque. I like to use this masque when I dont have time to do a rice water rinse, packed with protein and you can leave it on for 30-60 mins. I love using it with my @thermalhaircare Hot Head. Key Ingredients: Aloe leaf juice, Wheat Protein, coconut oil 5. @edenbodyworks Almond Marshmallow Split End Repair Masque This hair masque is amazing it has a great slip, helps my hair detangle and my hair is always super soft afterwards. Super moisturizing Key ingredients: Almond Oil and marshmallow root extract both these Ingredients are amazing at treating hair loss and promotes hair growth. 6. @rizoscurls Deep Conditioner This deep conditioner is last on my list because I havent been trying it for a long time but I am already in love. I know I should give it time

4+ years of being in a relationship has taught me: . to be open-minded, that differences don’t mean you’re incompatible, that teaching/learning in a relationship is okay, and that breaking up with your significant other shouldn’t be the first decision when solving problems . Those are just a few lessons (aside from patience, understanding, communication, trust, etc.) that have stood out to me personally, what have you learned from your relationship? -Shann
Mais uma de como está meu cabelo hoje. Confesso que não é tão simples me acostumar com a nova/velha eu, mas tô apreciando esse insight. É uma verdadeira epifania a transição capilar. Gratidão por viver isso!
"Those look like 2 completely different people" Le husband. Nah they are not😉 I used to wear #brushedoutcurls all the time. Hair wax was my best friend, salt spray a must and the "style" lasted about 2 hrs. I still was happy because I had not seen my real hair in years, but my results were not great and let's face it I was not being careful with the styling. Now I care for my fro properly without damaging it, back then I did deep conditioned always 2x week; because I needed it, but the hair did not look very hydrated right? My styling was aggressive and incorrect. Now I can get away with 2/3 weeks without DC but it's always best to deep condition often. My new winter routine includes twice a week deep conditioning, for example, I avoid flat irons, wax, mineral oil and drying alcohols are an absolute no and so on. 🌸 I found the before pic on my #pinterest board and if I shared it back then, it's because I was happy with the result of what I called "fro experiment #2". 🌸 I hope the idea behind this photo comparison makes sense...#enjoythejourney even if your hair is not "there yet" 🌸 I like both pictures, each one represents a stage of success. The idea of doing this for me was increasing my happiness and every little win made me happy, having volume in April 2016 after the big chop was my mega goal non plus ultra but my hair was not ready so I ended up with volumizers and brushing my curls, reshaping with wax and using dry shampoo at the roots after drying. It seemed to "work in my eyes" but I was damaging the hair, there is no doubt about it. Still I wanted to be me, and in both pictures I feel like myself. I'm glad I improved my routine and have reached the place where my curls are at now, but I am not ashamed of where I began and neither should you be! Keep going, make the necessary changes to achieve healthy hair and enjoy the journey. PS. If you need any help I'm just a DM away 🤗 #transformationtuesday#scheduling#tasks#motivation
Hey everyone sorry it has been a while since I have posted. Today I want to talk about and share my curly hair journey. I used to have the beautiful curls on the right but I impulsively decided to dye them blond summer of 2017. Unfortunately, the person over processed my hair leaving it completely fried and lifeless. I ended up having to completely cut all my damage little by little and can finally let my hair regrow out. The picture of the left was taken today because my curls are more defined than ever after my major big chop but I miss my long locks so dearly and am looking forward to watching it grow out again.
Let’s go!
. . . . . . . . . . .
