At Ström & Jag we strive for individuality. That's why we let the people working here pick their own paper for their businesscards. Our co-founder, @malinholmstrom, chose an egg-white 350gsm beautifully textured paper called Rives Design from @arjowiggins_graphic, with rounded corners.
We live in an increasingly visual world where people respond to photos, videos and infographics more than most other content. ⠀ ⠀ It’s important to note that when people hear information, they're likely to remember only 10% of that information three days later. However, if a relevant image is paired with that same information, people retained 65% of the information three days later. ⠀ ⠀ Also, tweets with images receive 150% more retweets than tweets without images and Facebook posts with images see 2.3X more engagement than those without images.⠀ ⠀ The value of visual content for your business means that consistent, quality imagery needs to be a priority, but not everyone can afford to create their own suite of brand photography, so what can you do?⠀ ⠀ Stock photos are an affordable, accessible option when it comes to adding imagery to your brand, but not all are created equal, so this week on the blog I wanted to share my favourite places to find the perfect photos for you! ⠀ ⠀ Link in bio ⬆️
In order to belong to the French department of Isère, we’ve standardized the visual identity of eleven departmental museums and archives. The logos consists of a characteristic symbol of each site. Denominations were standardized and localities systematically expressed. This re-design work go hand in hand with a set of applications and compositions rules. – #isereledepartement#isereculture#logo#identitydesign#graphicdesign#artdirection#silencedesignstudio
Bringing brands to life outwith the typical print and digital formats is a challenge but incredibly rewarding.⠀ _⠀ Birthday balloons brought the identity we designed for Graphic Design Festival Scotland with Cause & Effect to life and added a whole new depth to the reality of the children’s birthday party concept.⠀ _⠀ Bringing the identity into venue was important, and helped reflect what visitors had seen in the online campaigns, website and print promotion into the physical space.
