Recovering from the (incredible but tiring) Namibia road trip and the long journey watching life go by in a farm in the middle of the countryside, 2h south of Casablanca. We couldn’t have picked a calmer spot, we needed it!
"Que barulho é esse? Vai logo, acho que o trem tá vindo!" 🚞 Diálogo dos bastidores sobre quando você invade uma ponte pra fotografar nos trilhos do trem. ˜ 🇬🇧 "What's that sound? Come on, do it, I think the train is coming!" Backstage dialogue about when transpassing a bridge to photograph on the train tracks. #hanoi#vietnam

Land Ho!!! We are in sight of land off Dominican Republic!! . Our first overnight crossing will end up being a little over 52hours in total and was a tale of two vastly different seas. . First day full of calm water around Turks&Caicos and required motorsailing, while the second we nearly had to reef the main during midnight squalls! 😬 . Lots of firsts for us in this trip (clearly not in the Bahamas anymore) but all in a smooth and enjoyable sail... . Except maybe the port engine going out (yet again) and losing one of our favorite lures to an unmarked fishing net off grand turk! 😖 . #crossing#sailing#learningtosail#findthebeautyinthebig#learnonenewthingeveryday#catamaran#sailingcaribbean
If you follow @zoe.nyc.paris you know that we’re a little behind on posting... We’ve disconnected for a couple of weeks as we’re enjoying the last country of our trip and processing our return. I’ll try to catch up fast so you can witness our next and biggest adventure yet - Paris - in real time. Hope you’ll forgive our delayed posting ❤️
Happy Bday my dear @angelikakathak 🎂🥂🤩You’re almost unbearably optimistic, enthusiastic and spontaneous person. Stay the same!! Love you 😍😘 And thank you for this unforgettable journey to a wonderland, named Cappadocia. It is one of the most incredible places I’ve ever been to! Cappadocia is an area in Central Anatolia, Turkey 🇹🇷 best known for its unique moon-like landscape. Called fairy chimneys, the strange rock formations were formed through the millennia by intense volcanic activity and erosion. They’re comprised of two types of rock – a harder outer basalt and a softer inner volcanic tufa rock. Incredible alien like look! 👽 In good weather a must-do in Cappadocia is riding a hot air balloon. Unique landscape and a dozen of colorful balloons surrounding you make this experience really unforgettable! It’s better to make arrangements in advance. However, it’s also possible to come to ‘balloons station’ and buy a ticket the same day. First flight is about sunrise time and it’s definitely worth waking up early. In Cappadocia you also have a unique opportunity to stay in a cave room carved from the area’s soft volcanic tufa rock and feel yourself as a member of Flintstones family. 🍖🧔🏻👩🏼🦱👶🏻 As I understood the best time to visit Cappadocia is spring (April - May) and autumn (mid September - mid November). It isn’t peak season and the weather is moderate. However, weather still can be quite unpredictable, so it’s better take some warm closes and a raincoat. Cappadocia is easily accessible from main Turkish cities by plane, bus or car. Just be prepared to spend several hours on the road. In any case believe me that this journey’s gonna worth it! #turkey#cappadocia#travel#travelblogger#summer#hotairballoon#iamtb
