In love with mounted staghorn ferns right now. I used to not understand the draw to staghorns and I thought they were BUTT ugly when I saw them sitting in a pot in the nursery. But then, I saw a MOUNTED one on YouTube and it just clicked. It made sense. From that moment on, I was hooked. I wish I had more friends that were plant lovers. I would make them all one of these bad boys 😍 . . . . . . . . #plants #houseplants #plantnerd #planthoarder #plantenabler #plantsofinstagram #plantlady #house_plant_community #plantmama #plantcommunity #plantmom #houseplantlove #plantstagram #foliage #plantlove #plantlover #plantcetera #livingwithplants #plantparenthood #plantobsessed #crazyplantlady #plantsmakepeoplehappy #lifewithplants #urbanplants#houseplantsofinstagram#plantgoals#girlswithplants#staghornfern#mountedstaghornfern#platyceriumbifurcatum

My latest obsession are interiors. I am in the process of reinvigorating my room, corner by corner, with an attention to detail I wish I possessed all the time. I tend to go through these cycles of transformation every few months, but this time the process feels just as satisfying as the end result. And I am breathing in deeply the reminder to slow down and soak in the journey. ... I finished this little corner this weekend and every time I see this vignette through my door, my soul actually dances. I call it my jungle. (Bear with me for this next part as I’m a Feng Shui novice): as the wealth/abundance quadrant of my room, this corner when well tended should help cultivate prosperity, wealth and any other element you wish in abundance upon your life. I struggled for some time to bring this area together, but then I brought home these plant babies and it all came together like magic. It was as if the various decor elements were just waiting for that final piece of the puzzle. ... The Peace Lily is the real statement piece, as a not-so-subtle representation of what I want to bring into abundance in my life. And just like this corner came together, I think whatever other wealth I cultivate will fall into place right behind it. ... Next stops on my room reinvigoration are gallery walls in my family and creativity quadrants, and of course more plants! Can’t wait to show more of my journey!
