Do you like buffets? 🙋🏻♂️ Ah you like buffets, who the heck don't?! . The dinner buffet at the Clipper Lounge inside of @mo_hkg is luxurious and plentiful. I was so distracted by the amazing food that I forgot to capture it all! Seafood, sushi, meats, charcuterie, Chinese delicacies, desserts, drinks, etc. etc. . One standout was the Lobster Laksa bar 😲 They prepare it how you like to order, and here's a pro tip - while there is lobster meat in the broth, go ahead and grab some lobsters from the seafood bar and toss em in like I did, because why not? 😆 . 📍: Clipper Lounge, Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Central 🍜: Lobster Laksa + 2 lobster halves 😋
Thanks for the feature 💚 Organic and sustainable..just how nature intended. Repost @lamaroshotel ・・・ We love mussels. And the best are from Spring Bay in Tasmania. On special this weekend, in the bar and the dining room, these plump sweet beauties are simply steamed and dressed with a Thai Basil nam jim khim (an intoxicating sweet, sour, salty and spicy dressing)

Opened till 1am daily, Dimdimsum Dim Sum Speciality Store – quite a mouthful to say – at Jordan was just a walk’s away from our AirBnB and the perfect place to have a late dinner. Though there were no queues at all, I was quite surprised to see that the restaurant was packed, seemingly with plenty of foreigners. Famed for their adorable Piggy Custard Buns (HKD20), right off the bat they were much better than the ones we had at another restaurant. Aesthetics aside, the fact that the custard flowed out when I tore the bun open was already a straight win for me. We also got their Crispy Rice Flour Rolls with Shrimp (HKD27) which we found so good that we got a second serving. Firmly packed with the most even and gorgeously glistening rice noodle rolls, the deep fried rice flour made for just the perfect crispy texture that went well with the generous serving of shrimp inside. We also got a couple of classic Dim Sums such as BBQ Pork Buns (HKD16), which were decent and generous with the fillings, Steamed Shrimp Dumplings (HKD27) which I felt was of textbook quality with the shrimp really juicy, Pork Dumplings with Crab Roe (HKD23) which was one of the most exquisite of its kind I have ever seen, as well as the Steamed Spareribs with Black Bean Sauce (HKD19) which unfortunately was a tad too fatty for my liking but came with a generous serving of pumpkin. All in all, definitely the better Dim Sum place of our trip so far with affordable prices. Rating: 3.9/5
