Literally bawling my faceoff because of this life size GIRAFFE.🦒 My girl gang was at a #tonyrobbins event this weekend which I chose/couldn’t emotionally be present at because of my mommas anniversary of her angel wings. They sent me this to me so I had something to hug in their absence. 💕🦒🦒 People ask me all the time why I am love the Beachbody community so much. This. This is why. A year ago these women flew in for the funeral and sat with me the entire day. They helped @kolbykofficial get waterproof mascara, tissues, wine and more to help me survive. Final results! 3 days, 6 pounds. Yes, it was hard, as in, not eating meat and dairy, for me that is hard. And not really getting to eat a lot, and pushing sooooo much water was hard. But here’s what I took away.... ➡️ a ton of water every day really helps to flush everything out of your body. I was peeing all the time. 😂 ➡️ A veggie cooked by itself with the simplest of seasonings can be sooo delish! (Maybe cumin, or ginger, or just a touch of lemon) Made me realize how much we tend to complicate our cooking. ➡️ It only takes a couple days to break an addiction to Halloween candy. 🙄 ➡️ When I put my mind to it, I am disciplined enough to stick to a strict regime, even when cooking an amazing dinner for a friend and not even having any (nor taking part in the beer accompanying it. 👏🏼👏🏼) . This 3-day cleanse is one of the many programs I use to help the people I coach. If you are interested in more details let me know.
First workout in a while happened this morning. Sometimes life does get in the way...even for health coaches. If anyone tells you they are 💯 all the time, don’t believe them. No one is perfect. . I’ve allowed other things to take me away from getting my workouts done, and I’m just going to take it one day at a time. A couple moves from today’s shoulders/HIIT circuit workout. We did 2 sets of different shoulder workouts immediately followed by 30 sec of high intensity cardio. I think it was 9 rounds total.. plus core. All in 35 minutes!! Better than sitting around at the gym checking Instagram in between sets and trying to decide what to do next. I want abs, but I want pizza and beer more🍕🍺😆 I work my core 5 days a week for at least 15 minutes, I love my carbs wayyyyy too much not to😂😭 I mean I’m not trying to enter a bikini comp or anything, so I’m definitely ok with a little fluff. I cut carbs almost completely out of my diet while trying to drop fat, and although it helped a lot, I’m so much happier now that I can be more flexible with my diet. It’s all about consistency and eating certain things in moderation🖤
