Book Box! This was for my daughter’s birthday, @hobbylobby has these book boxes, and I just painted it up and attached a handle to the binding. It’s so cute! And that’s her new lemon 🍋 tree in the background! #bookbox#books#handmade#handmadecrafts#hobbylobby
Do you guys have any fun craft or simple diy projects you're looking forward to working on this summer? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ This topiary was one of the easiest projects we've ever made with basic supplies like styrofoam, faux dill, moss and a stick from the yard. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ ⠀⠀⠀ At first, I thought we would just use it in the kitchen but this topiary has been moved all over the house because its so neutral so I'm going to make a few more I think. ⠀⠀⠀⠀
This green comp problem is super cool, it's definitely my style, crimps and really nice movement. Crimps are some of the most common holds you'll find in climbing, both indoor and out. One key element to understand about crimps is that “crimp” can refer to the actual hold OR the way in which you use the hold (information credited sportrock). There are three main types of crimp. 1) The full crimp, this is where your thumb wraps over at least your index finger, its a very powerful grip type. It's also a good way to injure fingers, particularly if our fingers are not ready for this type of hold position. Try to use one of the other crimp types. 2) The half crimp or chisel grip, this is where our fingers sit around 90 degrees making an upside-down L shape, this is also the most efficient one to train as its in-between the other crimp types. 3) The open hand crimp, this is where our fingers our in an open hand position (hence the name), I use this grip a lot myself particularly when I first started climbing, this was due to wanting to stay injury free. You're less likely to be injured from this grip type as your hand will naturally open up if we can't hold the hold, it puts less force through the fingers which lowers the risk of finger injuries.
