It use to be, everytime I went climbing my palms get sweaty, my heart rate increases, and I get butterflies. Some may say that it is because I was nervous, or maybe I was excited. In reatlity, I use to be afraid of failure. I would put so much pressure on myself to finish a route. BUT, I have come so far from what I use to be. Climbing has taught me that it is ok if I did not get up the route. I have learned that as long as I push myself, and gave it my all; that is what matters the most. So, if failure is what worries you. Do not be afraid. Give it your all. Do your best. If you fail, learn from your mistakes, chalk up and try again. Get active, stay active, it's a lifestyle. ✌️❤️ photcred @uncultivated.photography
This was probably my favorite shot from my trip to Utah! We got to Zion National Park early in the morning and took one of the first shuttles out to the trail. We were still among 100 other hikers who had the same idea as we did. It was bizarre to see people racing on the trail trying to get to be first to Angel’s Landing. I decided to take a few minutes and be intimate with this scene! I’m currently working on getting prints of this and other favorite shots. Let me know if you want one 😁
Entering into another season of transition, I just keep reminding myself to walk in an attitude of gratitude. // Every day, I spend time writing down the things I am immensely grateful for. Both little and big. // A place to stay on a road trip, comical texts from my best friend filled with excitement, a roommate willing to help me rearrange cars in my rush to work. // These things add up. Walking in an attitude of gratitude adds up. Take a few minutes and write down the things your grateful for, both little & big.
Day 2 of Holidays led from Slovenia to Arco (Italy) on the Gardalake. The city is known for the Boulder-World Championship and is a paradise for Climbers, Mountainbikers, Hikers and all who enjoy Watersports on the great lake. So like the secret "Outdoor-Capital" of Europe. In the great old city center you only see outdoor shops and people who come from their adventures. Loved it from the start - also with 22 degrees and sun. Directly after arrival we did a little Via Ferrata near the city. One the many highlights is their old castle on the Rock. Best City in the World! #arco#alpen#trekking#wandern#berge#mountains#düsseldorfwanderer#hike#hiking#alps#panorama#lovehiking#mountainphotography#bergfotografie#hikevibes#hikersofinstagram#klettersteig#castle#naturfotografie#naturefotography#picofday#outdoor#nature#natur#climbing#klettern#pictureoftheday#rocks#italy#lakegarda
