Everyday working. HIIT conditioning day with @sidneydemden - many people have commented about how I’m not losing body fat. My goal right now is not to be losing body fat - my goal is to put on the muscle that I lost during my last shred. To gain muscle naturally I need to be in a caloric surplus, with that comes body fat gains. I lost almost 1.5 kilos of muscle during my shred down. I am currently doing only 1 x 20-25 minute session of cardio per week to keep up my cardiovascular conditioning. I am currently in a caloric surplus and reverse dieting to increase my basal metabolic rate to replenish my hormonal markers and put me at a healthy and advanced starting point before I start my next shred (Most likely after Christmas - next shoot February). So between now and then, I am working on lifting heavy, eating plenty, optimising my gut health and educating myself as much as I possibly can during my 6 months with #teamcarterinstitute about nutrition, gut health, hormones and training techniques.
