Tonight I had an amazing and somewhat unique experience of swimming in Rubislaw Quarry - true hidden gem in Aberdeen. For those who don't know, Rubislaw Quarry was once the largest man-made hole in Europe and is largely responsible for Aberdeen being known as “The Granite City”. It's not accessible to the general public so it was a great honour to be able to swim in it with my fellow Swim Free Aberdeen peeps and enjoy the tranquility after a busy day at work. Hopefully that won't be the last time we get to swim in there 😀 _________ #swimfreeaberdeen#rubislawquarry#wildswimmingscotland#hiddengem#thegranitecity #maybeshouldnthavejumpedoffthecliff #dontthinkshoulderwasreadyforthat
Unpopular opinion unrelated to these photos: I am happy with and okay with the ending of GoT given the direction the authors took the story. Some things were underdeveloped, but I find the story itself interesting. 🖤 In other news, (lol) I’m still learning to be more and more confident in myself every day. In my physical being as well as my sharing my own thoughts and ideas. I almost didn’t post these, but here we are! Thank you to those of you who always love and support me. I love you, too.
may is #mentalhealthawarenessmonth 🌞 as a social media strategist, I spend so many hours of my day sucked into the digital realm. here are three ways I nurture my mental health: 🌻 play around with a coloring book ever since my friends and I (@carleythenomad and @analopez1) had a magical night where all of us were coloring one page in this book, I didn’t want to stop! three different perspectives on color, on art, with no parameters on what the whole picture would look like, was such a fun experience! 🌻 put it down it’s simple, but it’s not. disconnecting is fun, you start to see life more vividly when the digital world stops sucking the color out of you. 🌻 make something baking? cooking? makeup look? painting? crafting? ikea furniture? get your thumbs off your screen and onto something physical. making something will connect you back with the present moment. remember to always be gentle with yourself ✨ be humble and be positive, love you through the cosmos and back ✌🏼

Ms. Kozak’s 5th grade Social Studies students researched Sybil Ludington and Paul Revere to enter the Sons of the American Revolution contest. On May 13th, SAR shared revolutionary flags and awarded prizes. Congratulations to the WHS winners! #weimarhillsschool#placerhillsusd#hiddengem 🌲💎
