I’m too busy. I’m too tired. I can’t afford it. The top three excuses. 🙄 I’m guilty of them too. When my coach asked me, I straight up said no, I can’t afford it. We all know how important exercising is for our bodies and our minds. Just like anything else, if it’s important to you, you will make time for it. You will power through your workouts. You will find a way to adjust your budget. By continuing a workout routine in my home, my children have started to participate, allowing us to bond further, by sharing a wonderfully healthy activity. They ask to do a workout with me as often as they ask for dessert. #truestory I no longer depend on my daily dose of #caffeine to get me going and keep me going until the evening. Big save on money right there! I have completely modified how I grocery shop for our home, which has further given me the financial freedom to workout and work from home. And in the end, the world is as we choose to view it. Simple as that. Disclaimer: controversial post This speaks volumes to me. Who is “healthier” in your eyes? I have seen a lot of changes and trends in my 12 years in the fitness/health field. For some reason I have been seeing a lot more people choose goals to look like the guy on the left (could also be due to social media). I give them a lot of credit for their sacrifices and determination to get there. Doing fasted cardio in the AM’s and living in the gym is not for everyone. I’m ok with that piece. What I am not ok with is the nutritional sacrifices some people do to their body to get there. I’m sure that there people doing it in a healthier way. However, before you choose to look like the person on the left, talk to a real nutrition coach or dietitian. Not every person’s body runs the same and some require different ratios and macros. While cutting carbs is the fastest way to burn fat; make sure you look at carbs as fuel, and not just a “reward” just to get that extra decrease in body fat (for possibly more likes). Carbs is not the enemy, gluttony and laziness is. Of course, you want to changing some food choices, but largely… You want to be keeping them the same. - As long as you can keep your calories where they’re supposed to be and keep your protein intake high.
