TRANSFORMATION TUESDAY! All my life, I have struggled with my weight. In high school, I was very active in sports, but still bigger than most. When I started having children at 21, I kept gaining. I would lose some weight after having a baby, but stalled around 180 pounds...every time. 🤔 I had to exercise intensely and count calories like a crazy person in order to lose a couple pounds. We are talking over 15 years of struggling as an adult! This "before" picture was pretty much my normal, between 170-180 lbs. ENTER KETO: I knew nothing else was working, so I dabbled in keto. I dove into the research and just started. I knew I wouldn't ever have a perfect diet as a busy mom, but I could do my best. Do you ever notice that a lot of the advice given (even from those you like and trust) all talk about a journey that’s already happened? It can be just a little discouraging to have the impression that everybody’s already passed ahead of you, and you are the “newbie.” Often times that person is passing on wisdom from a difficult situation or period of waiting now that they’ve already passed through it. But what do you do (especially for your audience) if you’re currently struggling? If you’ve taken the leap of faith and now the lack of support you’ve been shown by others is sinking in along with your doubts and lack of experience? And #allthethings is just too much on your shoulders? You do what you know. “Remember” has been my motto/mantra beyond anything else because of what it means. So often we forget what we should be doing, we forget how much we’re loved, or forget why we started in the first place. Whatever pain you’re going through you need to remember the truth about the situation or what has helped you through before. Remember why you started, remember the passion that led you to act and execute. Remember all that you learned and apply that to right now.

I set a personal record for my mile run (I hate running, so this is exciting for me🏃🏽♀️😊). I also squatted the most weight ever for me- 135lbs. That may not seem like much to you, but for a girl that has never done any of this before...I’m pretty proud of it🙌🏼 I NEVER in a million years thought I would love the gym and look forward to it daily....buuttttt here I be. I’d like to think this is how I look when I’m busy rushing around. But I reckon I actually look more like The Trunchbull when she’s on a rampage.🤔😳😂⠀ ⠀ I’ve been super busy for the past few weeks as I’ve been given some amazing work opportunities.⠀ ⠀ But this has meant I’ve struggled to find time to train. Yesterday I was only able to spare half an hour for the gym! ⠀ I considered not bothering because I didn’t think it would be worth it...then figured I’d at least try. Although it definitely wasn’t my best ever workout, I felt great afterwards! ⠀ Please don’t think that you need to clear hours every day for exercise. Just do what you can with the time you have.⠀ ⠀ Something really is better than nothing.

If you have past hurts or failures you may be holding on to, you can get past them. It takes taking that first step of faith to move forward. . I recently shared that I will be starting training to become a @revelationwellness Instructor next week. This is SOO far out of my comfort zone!! And although I took that step of obedience and said YES to God on this, I still have some past failures that whisper I can't do it. . I listened to those whispers and stayed right where I was for awhile. I mean, if I’m being honest, it's was safe and comfortable there. . But I know that's not where God wants me. He has something greater for me planned on the other side of this. So I'm letting go. Trusting and letting go. . What about you? Is there an area in your life that just keeps telling you to hold on- you can't do it- you can't get past it? . I can't predict what's on the other side of your situation or mine, but I can tell you that I know my God loves me (and you) and that if we let go and trust Him... today was one of those days • where i felt have been taking two steps backwards for every one step forward towards something i wanted to change about myself • it all seemed so futile like gosh, am never going to do better than this, am I? Abs are obvi made in the kitchen but a b🍑🍑ty is built at the gym, or so I have been told 🤷♀️ • I am currently in need of a major sweat sesh but I have been set back with a faucet of a nose these last 5 days, so I am spending this time blowing my brains out 🤧 and trying to decide to make a switch. Honestly this time being sick has given me a lot to think about in terms of what I want out of a #fitnesscenter and while PF is a great starting place for peeps...ya girl is way to impatient to wait for the weights to be avail. So in the usual #millennial fashion, I am taking to the internet to make the decision for me. • Switch to a closer (like 5 minutes from my house), more expensive, overall better gym or stick it out until my contract ends and make it work?
