This time last year I was seriously such a zombie. I would come home from school and pass out on the couch while Mac cooked dinner. Working out was not a thing that was happening. This year, I definitely am still feeling tired, and an after school nap sounds nice, but I won't do it when I'm supposed to be working out. When I'm in a program, I'm committed. I refuse to go back into old habits. . I'm also super blessed to have this guy show up and be dedicated with me. It means the world to me that he shows up every single day. He's never made an excuse, never complained, never brought me down. He's been with me on this from day one, and that blessing is not lost on me. Here's to crushing it!
🕘🕰 Intermittent Fasting🕰🕘 (part1) -- 🕛Sort of recently started incorporating intermittent fasting (IF) into my life which has been amazingggg. 😁 -- 🕧Basically what it is, is have an "eating window" of typically 8 hours, and not eating for the rest of the 16 hours. 😱 -- 🕛I've been eating this salad to break my fast everyday, and it makes me feel so healthy 😂. I follow it up with a meal with some animal protein and more fats 🥑. -- 🕘IF goes against what a lot of people believe/believed in. Instead of eating small meals throughout the day to keep the metabolism going, IF is the complete opposite, in which you eat maybe 1 or 2 big meals a day. 👌 -- Why fast? You gonna be hungry afff 💀 -- Yeah..., actually no. I could probably fast for an even longer period than 16 hours... I've done 24hrs before, and some people fast for even longer (up to like 5 days+). -- And the reason this is even possible, is how the body responds to fasting on a hormonal level. 👇 -- 🍕Grehlin=(aka "hunger hormone")🍟 -- ✏Basically increased levels of grehlin in the body make you hungry, eat more, etc. And these levels are at its lowest in the morning🌄 (so are you really hungry?) Maybe..., if you're body is also conditioned to always having breakfast when you wake up. 🥣🍳Kinda like the whole psychological experiments with pavlov's dogs🐶.. bell rings🔔.. saliva is stimulated. In this scenario, body wakes up, you think about breakfast🌯 🤷♀️. -- Slowly you can adapt to fasting longer hours, and experience multiple benefits of IF. La Hiperuricemia o aumento de Ácido úrico (AU) en sangre, es cuando su producción es excesiva o existe una disminución en su eliminación, aunque frecuentemente es una combinación de ambas. Tal vez habrás escuchado o te habrán dicho que las recomendaciones nutricionales en esta enfermedad, es limitar el consumó de carnes rojas, aves, mariscos, por su contenido de purinas. Sin embargo, es la fructosa actualmente el principal resposable de la prevalencia de la hiperuricemia. 😲😱🚫 🍪🍩🍨🍭🍰🍦🍕🥞🍮🚫 . . En un estudio dirigido por el Dr. B. Stavric, vieron que la ingesta de fructosa aumento el AU en apenas 30-60 minutos. Esto se debe a que el hígado incrementa la generación de ÁU en cuanto entra en el sangre rica en fructosa. Por otra parte la fructosa hace aumentar la producción de lactato y éste inhibe la excreción renal de los uratos; y provoca vasocontricción e hiperuricemia que también disminuyen la excreción renal. 🤯👩🏽💻 . .
