This is a wonderful quaint vietnamese restaurant that looks like a cute teahouse from the outside! They have so many wonderful healthy options to choose from! Pictured here is one of their salads! You have an option of what kind of protein you would like to add! This is also a great place if you're a vegetarian as well because they offer portobello mushrooms or fried tofu to top off your dishes. The dressing and salad was light but savory. Ending day 5 of my fruit fast/cleans with a nice hearty avocado, tomato, and cucumber fruit salad with lime juice and sea salt. So far I’m down 10 lbs. from my starting weight. This salad was delicious and super filling considering I’ve only been eating light fruits over the past 5 days. I’m still unsure if I’ll keep going or transition back to my normal vegan diet tomorrow. We’ll see.

🥞How to make healthy waffles?⁣ ⁣ You can either use the Kodiak cakes mix or you can use this RECIPE: ⁣ ⁣ 🔸1 egg⁣ 🔸3/4 cups milk of choice⁣ 🔸1.5 tbsp honey or brown sugar⁣ 🔸1.5 tbsp oil⁣ 🔸0.5 tsp vanilla extract⁣ 🔸0.25 tsp baking powder⁣ 🔸Pinch of salt⁣ 🔸1 cup whole wheat flour⁣ ⁣ Combine and cook in a waffle maker. Should make about 6 waffles.⁣ ⁣ Top with apple sauce, cinnamon, fresh fruit, yogurt, maple syrup, or any other topping that you like :) #wafflesrecipe

Summery dinner from last night 🍳! Zucchini egg noodle nests, avocado, and mango & tomato slices. All random but it worked 👌🏼. This was my first time making zucchini egg nests but they were actually very easy .  Deets-> Start by spiralizing about 1/4 of a large zucchini and then placing it in a skillet in as much of a circle fashion as you can. Cover the pan for about 10 minutes on low heat. After 10 minutes try to free up a little circle in the middle of your zucchini nest and drop an egg into it. Cook for another 6 minutes (or until desired doneness) on medium heat. Easy peasy veggie egg nest 🤗
Healthier burrito bowl🥙 … This simple dish was absolutely delish! I didn’t feel heavy and lethargic after. It was the perfect combo of filling and light. Assemble with these instructions: * Scoop of refried Black beans, warmed * Handful of grape tomatoes, halved * About a cup of sautéed peppers and onions * Half an avocado * Scoop of Cauliflower rice, warmed with lime juice and cilantro * Tamed jalapeños, as many as you like * Topped with avo cilantro dressing and sriracha NOMNOMNOM🙃

We are what we eat. Eating the right kind of food will help us to age healthily and look youthful.💪 Chia seeds are a superfood, packed with fiber, omega-3 fatty acids, protein, potassium and magnesium, and antioxidants. They are beneficial for healthy, supple skin, boosting energy, improving endurance and even helping regulate digestion.👍💪 My favorite way to eat chia seeds is to make a pudding out of it and embellish it with an assortment of berries.🍓🍓 Super delicious!😍 * RECIPE * 1.5 cup coconut milk/almond milk 1/3 cup chia seeds  Honey(optional)  Combine all 3 in a jar and shake or stir to mix throughly and prevent chia seeds from clumping.  Let soak for a couple of hours or overnight in the fridge. The mixture thickens and the seeds become soft and chewy! Yum!😋 I love to use coconut milk because it is creamier and more flavorful than almond milk.🥥 How do you make your chia seed pudding? What are your favorite toppings?😁

I can't believe I'm about to say this but...summer is around the corner ☀️ .
Every summer for me growing up was spent at my family's shore house, so I was a beach gal way before making my way to the city life. NYC isn't exactly stress-free, so escaping to my happy place is a must. Whether I head to South New Jersey or out to the Hamptons, a summer without the sea is no summer for me 🌊 .
The countdown to more summer memories inspired this light + flavorful dish: angel hair with shrimp, caviar & lemon butter Sauce featuring my favorite @petrossiannyc Royal Ossetra caviar. Find the full recipe below 👇🏼 #hungryblonde #summerlovingblonde .
Ingredients: • 1/2 box angel hair pasta, prepared as directed • 1 pound peeled & deveined shrimp salt • 1 stick unsalted butter • 2 cloves of garlic, minced • juice of 1/2 a lemon • salt & pepper to taste • 2-3 tablespoons #petrossian Royal Ossetra caviar • fresh parsley for garnish . Directions: Cook the shrimp in a large stovetop pan over medium heat until they turn pink. Turn heat to low, add in the butter & garlic and let cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Turn off the heat and add cooked pasta, Add the juice of half a lemon, season with salt & pepper and combine well. Top with caviar and fresh parsley.
#onepotmeal this evening! Some smoky Spanish rice, made with a ton of sweet peppers, onions, garlic and paprika sautéed in olive oil. Add slices of smoked turkey chipotle sausage to this, and some frozen peas. Then add a few whole Campari tomatoes, add rice, sauté and coat in mixture. I then added a whole bottle of beer to this, Italian beer this time. Rest add plain water. Check seasoning, add more salt if needed. Add 2 tsp of sugar to balance the bitterness from beer. Cover and cook until rice is tender. Garnish with cilantro and close the lid. This will help absorb some of that flavor. I topped off with cooked sausages and allowed the rice to finish cooking. Uno sfizioso e croccante #fingerfood che si presta benissimo a fare sia da antipasto che da secondo piatto... decidete voi!❤ ----------------------------- Gli involtini di melanzane dello scorso venerdì vi sono piaciuti proprio tanto... e allora ho deciso di proporre anche quelli di zucchine, una ricetta che in primavera/estate in casa Francy non può assolutamente mancare... buonissimi, leggerissimi e personalizzabili semplicemente variando il ripieno in base a fantasia e gusti!😉😉😉 -----------‐----------------- Per realizzare due porzioni abbondanti ho usato: Gr.200 di zucchine tagliate non troppo spesse e grigliate , farcite con Gr. 200 di affettato light di petto di pollo arrosto, mentuccia e grana padano grattugiato. Ho arrotolato e disposto in due piccole pirofile, condito con un cucchiaino d'olio evo, altro grana e pepe nero. Infornati a 200 gradi per 8 minuti circa, più grill elettrico per far dorare la superficie. Have you ever not done something in fear of upsetting someone else? Because that about sums this girl up 🙋🏼‍♀️ I’ve been thinking about this a LOT lately. There has been plenty of opportunity placed in front of me that I’ve turned down in fear of not living up to someone else’s standards, in fear of judgement, in fear of it not being the “right” decision in their eyes. My biggest one is traveling. I’ve always wanted to live different places; not settle in one specific location. Yetttt, every time the opportunity ensues, I don’t grab it, because I’ve got my family & friends voices in the back of my head telling me I’d be selfish or they’d miss me, if I were really to move away. Buuuut I think it’s incredibly important to remember, you don’t have to explain yourself to NO ONE 💁‍♀️ you don’t need anyone’s approval. LIVE your life; don’t coast. It’s scary, but life is supposed to be uncomfortable at times. Thomas recently got Job offers in Southern California.. (were in Seattle for those who didn’t know!) I have never lived outside of Washington, so naturally at first, I was like say whaaaaa. But, he’s taking one, so ya girl is moving to Cali! Whats even scarier? It’s probably going to be happening in about a months time, with no real warning of when. But hey, sometimes we just need to go with the flow of life & see what happens! So here’s to being stoked for new journeys! 🍾 .... Also stoked forrrrr the sharing of these PB&J cheesecakes which will be in my ebook!
