Healthy sweet tooth fix: - Slice up a sweet potato into circles -air fry at 400 for 10-12 min depending on thickness - rub a tiny amount of local honey on each circle (just enough to coat it) -add nut butter, banana, shredded coconut and cinnamon. (Or whatever you like basically). Tastes like desert ✊🏼
Ending day 5 of my fruit fast/cleans with a nice hearty avocado, tomato, and cucumber fruit salad with lime juice and sea salt. So far I’m down 10 lbs. from my starting weight. This salad was delicious and super filling considering I’ve only been eating light fruits over the past 5 days. I’m still unsure if I’ll keep going or transition back to my normal vegan diet tomorrow. We’ll see.
🥞How to make healthy waffles? You can either use the Kodiak cakes mix or you can use this RECIPE: 🔸1 egg 🔸3/4 cups milk of choice 🔸1.5 tbsp honey or brown sugar 🔸1.5 tbsp oil 🔸0.5 tsp vanilla extract 🔸0.25 tsp baking powder 🔸Pinch of salt 🔸1 cup whole wheat flour Combine and cook in a waffle maker. Should make about 6 waffles. Top with apple sauce, cinnamon, fresh fruit, yogurt, maple syrup, or any other topping that you like :) #wafflesrecipe

I am depressed, because I can’t do anything, and I am not a do nothing kind of woman. . . I don’t feel joy anymore and before when things fit hard I would try to find the joy.....but I can’t.

Summery dinner from last night 🍳! Zucchini egg noodle nests, avocado, and mango & tomato slices. All random but it worked 👌🏼. This was my first time making zucchini egg nests but they were actually very easy . Deets-> Start by spiralizing about 1/4 of a large zucchini and then placing it in a skillet in as much of a circle fashion as you can. Cover the pan for about 10 minutes on low heat. After 10 minutes try to free up a little circle in the middle of your zucchini nest and drop an egg into it. Cook for another 6 minutes (or until desired doneness) on medium heat. Easy peasy veggie egg nest 🤗
Healthier burrito bowl🥙 … This simple dish was absolutely delish! I didn’t feel heavy and lethargic after. It was the perfect combo of filling and light. Assemble with these instructions: * Scoop of refried Black beans, warmed * Handful of grape tomatoes, halved * About a cup of sautéed peppers and onions * Half an avocado * Scoop of Cauliflower rice, warmed with lime juice and cilantro * Tamed jalapeños, as many as you like * Topped with avo cilantro dressing and sriracha NOMNOMNOM🙃

They are beneficial for healthy, supple skin, boosting energy, improving endurance and even helping regulate digestion.👍💪 My favorite way to eat chia seeds is to make a pudding out of it and embellish it with an assortment of berries.🍓🍓 Super delicious!😍 * RECIPE * 1.5 cup coconut milk/almond milk 1/3 cup chia seeds Honey(optional) Combine all 3 in a jar and shake or stir to mix throughly and prevent chia seeds from clumping. Let soak for a couple of hours or overnight in the fridge. The mixture thickens and the seeds become soft and chewy! Every summer for me growing up was spent at my family's shore house, so I was a beach gal way before making my way to the city life. NYC isn't exactly stress-free, so escaping to my happy place is a must. Whether I head to South New Jersey or out to the Hamptons, a summer without the sea is no summer for me 🌊 . The countdown to more summer memories inspired this light + flavorful dish: angel hair with shrimp, caviar & lemon butter Sauce featuring my favorite @petrossiannyc Royal Ossetra caviar. Ingredients: • 1/2 box angel hair pasta, prepared as directed • 1 pound peeled & deveined shrimp salt • 1 stick unsalted butter • 2 cloves of garlic, minced • juice of 1/2 a lemon • salt & pepper to taste • 2-3 tablespoons #petrossian Royal Ossetra caviar • fresh parsley for garnish . Directions: Cook the shrimp in a large stovetop pan over medium heat until they turn pink. Turn heat to low, add in the butter & garlic and let cook for another 2-3 minutes, stirring frequently. Turn off the heat and add cooked pasta, Add the juice of half a lemon, season with salt & pepper and combine well. Top with caviar and fresh parsley.

Have you ever not done something in fear of upsetting someone else? Because that about sums this girl up 🙋🏼♀️ I’ve been thinking about this a LOT lately. There has been plenty of opportunity placed in front of me that I’ve turned down in fear of not living up to someone else’s standards, in fear of judgement, in fear of it not being the “right” decision in their eyes. My biggest one is traveling. I’ve always wanted to live different places; not settle in one specific location. Yetttt, every time the opportunity ensues, I don’t grab it, because I’ve got my family & friends voices in the back of my head telling me I’d be selfish or they’d miss me, if I were really to move away. Buuuut I think it’s incredibly important to remember, you don’t have to explain yourself to NO ONE 💁♀️ you don’t need anyone’s approval. LIVE your life; don’t coast. It’s scary, but life is supposed to be uncomfortable at times. Thomas recently got Job offers in Southern California.. (were in Seattle for those who didn’t know!) I have never lived outside of Washington, so naturally at first, I was like say whaaaaa. But, he’s taking one, so ya girl is moving to Cali! Whats even scarier? It’s probably going to be happening in about a months time, with no real warning of when. But hey, sometimes we just need to go with the flow of life & see what happens! So here’s to being stoked for new journeys! 🍾 .... Also stoked forrrrr the sharing of these PB&J cheesecakes which will be in my ebook!
