Up until about 2 months ago my anxiety ruled my life. It controlled so much and I let it. I’m not going to sit here and say it’s 100% gone and I’m “cured” But the difference really is night and day. I would often walk in somewhere, see how people there was and turn around and walk out. Being around to many people threw me into instant panic mode I’m very stuck in my ways of going where I’m comfortable. Same restaurants Same grocery store (at the same time each time) Same Starbucks and same trusty barista that knows my order I’m trying my best to get out of my “security bubble” Trying to try new restaurants, But new places mean speaking to new people, people who aren’t used to my mousey voice, and that right there is a huge fear of mine. But why? Why is speaking to new people so nerve racking to me? Will I ever be able to answer that question? One thing I know for sure is being able to roll these little oils on me when I’m feeling nervous is a huge relief for me. I feel instantly calmed. Now I can’t claim they are magic or anything like that but man, when I’m about to lock myself in the bathroom for a good cry, these bottles give me the strength I need to power through whatever obstacle I am facing in that moment.
Hiiii!🙋♀️ I wanted to share something that I think is a big reason why I love natural products. If you find the right ones...they work!! How do our health choices impact our kids? I would say more than we imagine! * I truly believe our kids pay more attention to what we do on a daily basis, the healthy choices we make, our physical activity, how we take care of ourselves and our bodies more than we think! * I try to be as healthy as I can, and I try to tell my kids how important it is to pay attention to what you put in your body, and I honestly, don't think they listen to me at all most of the time! But I hope that by looking at my choices everyday, it would stick with them on the long run. * My parents were always healthy and active. I clearly remember when I was young, I would always see my dad make all these healthy shakes, make sure he took his vitamins, he would run and lift weights regularly and he would always talk about the new health trend with us. * I see him now at 72 and he feels great and has never had anything more serious than a cold...and my kids get to see their grandpa active, with energy and I can not think of a better way to get thru their little minds. I hope it's a life lesson that stays with them forever!

Ingredients 1 banana 1/4 cup chocolate chips, melted 1 tbsp peanuts, chopped Steps 1. Slice banana and lay on a small cookie sheet. 2. It would break my heart to think my 6 year old daughter would hold herself back from enjoying any activity because of her self esteem 💔 Her confidence and love for her body amaze me daily and I pray that those attributes only continue to strengthen as she matures. But prayer without action is cheap. So here is what I am DOING 👩👧 1. Only speaking positively about my body - as upset as I'd be for my daughter to hear me criticize my appearance, I am also listening! Over the last year I've realized how critical it is to not only listen to ourselves, but speak intentionally to ourselves as well. 2. Focus on how I feel over how I look = as females we are so much more physically oriented, I want to honor that while working to shift my focus on FEELING (over looking) my best 3. MODEL the behavior I want her to have - she will remember what I do far more than what I say. If I want her to feel empowered, beautiful and confident, I need to live that. Sometimes as a mom and now a health coach I feel perfectionism trying to scare me out of even trying. No, I'm not perfect. I'm contending, and my 6 year old mini-me has a front row seat to my journey. I want her to inherit my strengths and learn from my challenges. Do you like Brussel Sprouts?!!? They are one of my FAVORITE veggies! Not only are they DELICIOUS, they have SO MANY health benefits! Eating healthy in my home is a family affair. We all put in our input, and from there I take the suggestions and create meals for the week. 🥗 .⠀ Does my family ever NOT like what I cook? Omg, I’m sure somedays they choke it down 😂, but we have 3 best practices that we use to make sure that we all end up happy and well fed. ⠀ .⠀ #1: Make your meals look appetizing. Nothing is going to get vetoed faster than a meal that looks like a pile of (well you know). Paint the plate with colorful fruits and veggies, make broccoli trees, banana pancake faces... it’s okay to be extra. These things take 3 seconds and your fam remembers these and will love you forever.⠀ .⠀ #2: If your the parent in the home, you pick the options of what is available, and the kiddos pick which option they would like based upon what you provided and they choose how much they will eat of the meal. This creates healthy boundaries between your kids and food, and allows you to make sure that their options are all balanced.⠀ .⠀ #3: Plan B may be needed. So, I always have a go to. So if someone doesn’t want what is available, I let them know that they can have either a PB & J, banana, and a cup of almond milk, or oatmeal and whichever protein is for dinner. ✨Superfood Burcha Mix / Smoothie Topper✨ As I’ve learned more about soaking grains, beans, seeds, and nuts, I noticed more and more the effects that these things have on me without soaking. Phytic Acid is hard for our bodies to digest. I’ve noticed that for me, my typical granola is a bit hard on my system. Sooo insert Burcha! I just found out about this a few days ago. The base is activated buckwheat. This is soaked and dehydrated buckwheat. I also have chopped up dried mango in here, sesame seeds, shredded coconut, hemp seeds, and raisins. The recipe also called for chia seeds but I choose to omit those as they will soak up liquid in your system and expand if used dry. So far I’ve found it to be very easy on the stomach and can’t wait to top our smoothies with it. It’s been awesome as a cereal too! 🌿
Oh summertime- the time of year we always need to refill our boo boo spray. With the kids playing outside all the time there are more cuts and scrapes This owie spray is our go too for all cuts, scrapes, bumps, bruises. It helps clean the area, helps support healing and jess scarring and helps soothe the area. We use a spray so that we do t have to rub or roll something into the tender area (believe me my five year old will not allow that to happen!) Love my little band of goofballs. So far, they don't seem to mind that their mom is a goofy nut who likes to make them, and others, laugh. . Today we went on a nature "hike" at this awesome kids trail not far from our house. They have interactive stations for the kiddos, and you learn a bit about animals that you would find locally. . I'm doing my best to do something active with the kids each day during summer break. Not only does it get the sillies out, but it is teaching them healthy habits. . I started this gig by just committing to my workout + posting about it on my social media. 🤯 next thing I know, friends were asking me about what I was doing and how they could do it too... ya know, just like that blogger who’s swimmy you’re obsessing over— she loves it. She posts about it. Hmmm what do you know... you love it, you want it, you ask about it. 👌🏼🤷🏼♀️ #nodifference Fun fact: @kylagunn was my VERY FIRST CUSTOMER + COACH on my team and we are still 🤞🏼. Just another reason why this 👏🏻 is 👏🏻 REAL!! Then I started investing a little more and committing to my team + challenge groups on my lunch break. I did this for TWO WHOLE YEARS!!!! 30-45 mins was ALL I NEEDED to build a SOLID foundation to what I never even imagined. Fast forward to today: I have 2-5 kids at home with me every single day!! I’m ALL HANDS ON DECK with them from 7am-1pm ish each and every day, but you know what?! 1-3pm is MY TIME. My time to GROW SOMETHING THAT IM FREAKING PROUD OF! My time to create resources for my team. My time to dive into personal development. My time to pray for you + the women in my challenge groups. My time to do what The Lord has called me to do!!!!! 2 hours a day, 5 -6 days a week= 10-12 hours a week! That’s LESS THAN PART TIME!!! I couldn’t work outside of my home for that many hours and feel the FULFILLMENT I get from this space. 😭♥️🤸🏽♀️ Basically, I’m just trying to say that I’ve seen alllll different seasons through this business!!! And that gives me such HOPE that I want to share it because I KNOWWW there’s someone out there who needs more PURPOSE but is scared to commit. Idk maybe she thinks it’s gonna take time away from her family? Or maybe she doesn’t think she has the time to do so?! What I wanna say to 👆🏼her is that YOU DESERVE TO SEE WHAT YOURE CAPABLE OF!!!! I have a confession.. I used to be a perfume addict (or hoarder, whatever you wanna call it 😝 ) Yesterday I cleaned out my walk-in closet and there were my designer perfumes in all their dusty glory. It’s been a long while since I doused myself in the lab made scent of these beauties. Just opening the lid and smelling them made me start sneezing like crazy! 😱 I used to LOVE perfumes. Like a lot. I had perfumes for every occasion, season, mood and time of day. One perfume just did not fit all. And don’t forget the body sprays from Victoria’s Secret too... “love spell” anyone?? So when I saw one I really liked, I got it. Those snazzy free department store counter gifts I’d always get with them were a fun bonus too. Feeling bored or happy or sad, i’d go get me a new perfume. My stores of choice were Macy’s, Dillard’s and gottschalks (remember that one?!) I didn’t know this then and I probably wouldn’t have cared much at the time either, to be honest, but 8 years ago when I had my first child, my eyes were opened and I made changes for him. all “the best” organic products. Then It took 4 more years to do those changes for myself. So why did I stop using something I loved so much? ....because These perfumes are wreaking havoc on our bodies, they Can cause allergies and irritate your skin. And that’s just the beginning ..perfumes are made from harsh chemicals and synthetic fragrances and chances are the bottom label on your bottle says its flammable...mine did. Sunscreen. Most of my life I never used sunscreen. I thought well I never burn so why use it?!
