Things I’m learning and unlearning: if you want to build muscle, lose weight, get a lean and strong body, and have the right energy during the day you HAVE to eat.  And most importantly, it HAS to be the right foods.  I’m relearning all this, after having spent years doing the whole calorie-restriction thing and calories-in-minus-calories-out maths. I still fall back into those bad habits when I’m not careful, it’s hard to get rid of 20+ years of bad information. The container system and 2BM have helped me get back to healthy eating (not just foods, but quantities and understanding how each type of food helps my body), and UPF is my next step in that direction. Made a sweet treat for the kids and had to sprinkle some nutrition to it, of course! 😜  Try these super easy Yogurt Popcorn Bites with sprinkled Moringa and Cinnamon.  They are finger-licking good! ———————————————————————— Yogurt Popcorn Bites  1. Use 3 Tbsp of Popping Corn to make your popcorn (or use about 2 cups of regular unseasoned popcorn) 2. Warm 1 cup of DF yogurt or Greek yogurt with 1/4 cup Pure Maple Syrup in a small saucepan in low heat. Mix to combine well.  3. Add 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract *OR DIVIDE YOGURT into two saucepans or bowls and use one flavored extract on  each mix. I used vanilla and raspberry ( which gave the yogurt sauce a slight pink color) 4. Combine yogurt mixture with yogurt sauce. *If using two flavors: Divide popcorn in half and add 1 Cup popcorn into each bowl of yogurt sauce. Combine until popcorn is well covered. 5. Place popcorn on parchment-lined baking sheet in one flat layer. Sprinkle some with Moringa, others with Cinnamon, or Turmeric. 6. Freeze for 15minutes if you prefer more soft and gooey texture or up to an hour if you want a more frozen consistency.  Enjoy this delicious treat!  The kids and I love these frozen Yogurt Popcorn Bites with added nutrients from Moringa powder. ❤️ . ROASTED VEGETABLE, LENTIL AND HALLOUMI BAKE  Ingredients  2 red peppers, deseeded and roughly chopped 200 g (7oz) closed cup mushrooms, thickly sliced 2 large sweet potatoes, cut into 2.5cm (1in) chunks 1 courgette, thickly sliced 2 tbsp olive oil 150 g (5oz) red lentils 1 l (1¾ pint) hot vegetable stock 250 g pack vegetarian halloumi, thickly sliced Large handful fresh curly parsley, finely chopped  Method  Preheat oven to 200˚C (180˚C fan) mark 6. Put the vegetables into a large roasting tin, drizzle over the oil and season well. Mix everything together.Roast the vegetables for 25min until they are almost tender. Sprinkle over the lentils, then pour over the hot stock. Continue to roast for a further 15min until the lentils and vegetables are cooked through.  Preheat the grill to high. Lay the halloumi slices on top of the roasted vegetables and grill for 2-3min until golden. Sprinkle over the chopped parsley and serve in gently warmed bowls with fresh, crusty bread.

RECETA‼️‼️ .  BIZCOCHO DE CHOCOLATE NEGRO Y QUESO! . Buenas tardes! . Os prometí la receta para esta tarde y aquí la tenéis! . Creo que me he enamorado 🥰 de éste bizcocho!! El sabor a chocolate y la cremosidad del queso lo hace totalmente irresistible para los amantes de éstos dos ingredientes tan 🔝😍 . GUÁRDATELA yaaaaa!!! No podrás resistirte a ésta maravilla!  INGREDIENTES: - 4 huevos - 180gr de chocolate negro 85% ( utiliza un chocolate con el porcentaje que más te guste) - 160 gr de queso de untar ligero ( a temperatura ambiente) - 3 galletas 🍪 de avena caseras  PROCEDIMIENTO: Trocea el chocolate y colócalo en un bowl. Fúndelo al baño María o en el microondas. Añade el queso de untar a temperatura ambiente y mezcla bien. Aplasta las galletas y añádelas y mezcla. Casca los huevos, colócalos en un bowl y con la ayuda de las varillas eléctricas móntalos hasta duplicar su volumen.  Junta las dos elaboraciones y mezcla muy bien. Forra un molde de plum cake con papel sulfurizado y hornea a 220° durante unos 15 minutos. . Puedes decorar con lo que más te guste. Yo lo acompañé de un poco de mantequilla de cacahuete y virutas de chocolate. . ⚠️Las galletas de avena que yo he utilizado son caseras, y mañana tendréis la receta lista, para que las podáis preparar si os apetece⚠️ #healthyfood #thenewhealthy #chocolatecake
