You can’t expect your life to change if you don’t actively make changes every single day.  And you can’t expect to keep these changes for life if you don’t do the inner work that goes with it.  Nutrition was always my biggest hurdle...’cos I’d do the work but fall right back into old habits and ways. It wasn’t until I worked on my triggers. Acknowledged my emotions and trusted my intuition with what my body needed that my life truly changed.  I came to truly understand the difference between nourishing vs numbing.  It’s what I see in so many of my clients. Failure to eliminate old habits and live the new ones because they are refusing to sit in the muck and understand their own triggers. TRUTH BOMBS:  You don’t have to go to the gym everyday to be healthy & fit. You don’t have to restrict your food intake to be healthy & fit. You don’t have to in pain 24/7 in order to be healthy & fit. You don’t have to suffer to be healthy & fit. ... You CAN take rest days. You CAN enjoy a yummy variety of foods. You CAN be happy and feel rested and still be HEALTHY & FIT. There is no rule book here, just do YOU and make it work! ... I wasn’t really feeling my normal Sunday swim today... Maybe it was the cold weather, maybe I was just in a ~mood~ but I just didn’t really want to do much of anything. On days like this, I make it my goal to just MOVE my body. So I went to the gym, but just walked on the treadmill at a very comfortable pace while listening to some podcasts! And guess what? I’m still feeling pretty healthy & fit. I actually left feeling great (physically and mentally) and ready to take on this week ahead. It has to be a priority! “I started my #health journey a little over 3 1/2 years ago. It was for #weightloss only. I didn’t know better. I didn’t know about #guthealth. I didn’t know how important #glucosemetbolism balance was for everyone.  I lost some weight pretty quickly in the beginning. Then I hit a plateau. I stopped exercising. I got comfortable. - 🍞CINNAMON FRENCH TOAST🍞 With egg, bacon & berries! - All you need: ▪️2 eggs ▪️2 pieces of bread ▪️dash of milk ▪️Cinnamon ▪️Sugar or Sweetener (I used erythritol) ▪️Short Cut rindless bacon ▪️Your choice of berries or other fruit. - How: ☑️ Whisk 1 egg, milk and a generous amount of cinnamon in a bowl. ☑️ Place bread in mixture until evenly coated. ☑️ Heat pan and place coated bread slices in to cook. ☑️ Start cooking the other egg and bacon in the pan at the same time. ☑️ Wait till the bread is golden brown on both sides and the eggs and bacon are cooked then remove from pan. ☑️ Once plated use 1teaspoon of sugar or erythritol to sprinkle over the bread (do the same for cinnamon) and top with your favourite fruits. ☑️DIG IN AND ENJOY 😎

I wasn't quite sure that a workout program that consists of 20 minutes a day would be enough to ensure AMAZING results.... I should have known better than to not TRUST and BELIEVE my favorite super trainer!  Week one results are in!  With watching my portion sizes and eating 80/20, along with 20 minutes of exercise a day using only my body weight and this step?  I have already lost 3 pounds and 2.25"!! More importantly though, I FEEL better! 🎉 More energy! 🎉 I feel full each day - definitely not hungry! 🎉 I can already feel my body getting stronger! 🎉 I sleep better at night! 🎉 Better mood throughout the day! Seriously, who doesn’t love a warm slice of banana loaf!? • I’ve talked before about creating a healthy relationship with food, and part of this is allowing ourselves to enjoy the foods we love...guilt free! • I LOVE a delicious slice banana loaf. Do I need it every day? Nope, absolutely not. Do I restrict it because it’s a less nutritious food!? Nope, absolutely not. • What I love about baking, is that we can take a recipe we love, and make it more nutritious, and just as enjoyable! • This is not a recipe I can take credit for (although I do have my own), but from the original recipe I was able to cut the sugar by more than half, and add an extra banana in its place. My favorite thing to do on a Sunday is setting up my bullet journal for the upcoming week 🤓 I know a lot of people set up their weekly logs in the beginning of the month, and that’s fine, but I like to set mine up weekly. I find that doing it this way allows me some time to unwind with my thoughts. I’m able to see what I have coming up this week, what workouts I have scheduled for myself, and it’s also just very therapeutic for me. Peppermint. . It’s been my best friend for the past 12 hours.  Not sure where I picked up this crud, but it was no fun.  And I have not been sick like this in years! .  In all honesty, it was extremely short lived.  I just hate getting sick like this.  Now to just deal with the body aches. . . . This combo is great for soothing the muscles and to help relax. PANCAKES DE AVENA 👉4 claras de huevo 👉1/3 tz de avena en hojuelas 👉1 cda de linaza molida 👉2 sobres de stevia 👉1 cdita canela 👉1 cdita vainilla 👉1 cdita de cacao (opcional)  Licuar todos los ingredientes , si la mezcla la quieres mas liquida agrega un chorrito de leche de almendras .
