Did you know you can make your traditional deviled eggs more nutrient dense by swapping the mayonnaise for Greek yogurt? I know what you’re thinking. Trust us, you won’t even be able to tell the difference! . . Try this recipe by The Real Food Dietitians: You will need: - 8 hard boiled eggs, peeled - 1/2 cup plain organic Greek yogurt - 2 tsp yellow mustard - 1 tsp worcestershire - 1/4 tsp garlic powder or minced garlic - Salt and pepper to taste - Paprika and parsley for topping! Preparation: 1. Slice hard boiled eggs in half. Remove the yolks and place them (the yolks) in a food processor. 2. Add the yogurt, mustard, worcestershire, garlic powder and a little salt and pepper to the food processor. Process until smooth. May also use a blender. 3. Transfer yolk filling into a piping bag (may also spoon into egg whites). 4. Fill each egg white half with the yolk filling. I'm finally feeling good in my skin again! I grew up with few skin issues (minus freshmen year of college where my diet was absolute garbage and I worked at Hardee's that allowed smoking in the lobby 🤢). But when I started to wean my 2nd kiddo, my hormones took a turn for the worse and I was battling with painful cystic acne. To top it off, I'm a picker. I will try to leave a blemish alone and it will go well for a few days until I can't take it any more! Who else has to pop those suckers? Around this time I decided I was going to give Beautycounter a try. I'd been seeing great results with others I followed on IG and it was safe to use while I was still breast-feeding. It was not an over the night miracle (that doesn't actually exist) but I've seen amazing changes over the past several months. (First picture I'm wearing brow gel only) The second two pictures are from several months ago. One is wearing makeup the other without. (I included the one with makeup so you can see how effective it can be). One of the things I'm most excited about is finding help for others with skin issues. I learned how much it can effect your life. I stressed over each new blemish, never wanting to leave the house without makeup. Feeling guilty fretting over my appearance in front of my two young daughters. I didn't want to teach them that something was wrong with the way I looked, but I just wasn't confident in my own skin. I want everyone to feel like I do today, so they can focus their energy on more important things! Sorry for the long rant. It's easy to cover things up on IG with filters and good lighting. I want to be real with my struggle and I want you to know I've be there too.

A comfort zone is a great place, but out of that nothing will grow 🌷 ____ If you told me a year ago I would be voluntarily standing in front of people and exposing myself fully through my poetry to a room of strangers, I wouldn’t have believed it. ____ But seeing and hearing the reaction from people has been amazing.
