Some wines do not need any introduction. This wine however leaves a perm-a-grin on your face after. If you like flashy, monstrous, cult-style wines... this one checks all the boxes ☑️. Ridiculous party of blackberries, black currants, and Arabica coffee along with the ever slight nuance of holiday spice - all makes this rich impressive heady wine worth it’s weight in gold. Not the biggest year that has come from Harlan Estate however, if any of you Militia fans have this is wine I’m cellar... go pull it out and drink it with friends and family this holiday season- it’s ready!
The Napa Valley Reserve 2007, Napa Valley, California, USA It's a private wine club founded by William Harlan, owner of Harlan Estate. Located in St. Helena and spreads over 80 acres estate is candy for eyes. You need to pay over $150,000 for membership and you're invited to take part in different activities at winery like grape harvesting, blending etc. Members also pay for allotment of wines and needless to say they are not available for sale. This Bordeaux blend opens with brambles, dark cherries, plum on nose. A bunch of dark fruits are accompanied by medium plus acidity and medium plus yet silky and velvety tannins. Amazing lingering finish that last for long. A wine worth all the bucks. And yeah, what a beautiful label. #thenapavalleyreserve#napavalley#sthelena#bordeauxblend#harlanestate#somm#sommeliertribe#sommlifeindia
