[EXTENDED HAND-TO-HAND 😳]: That #mancrushmonday right there is @acro_ben and he’s a total boss 💪💪💪💪💪 . After throwing a few traditional Hand-to-Hands, we decided take a stab at Extended! . This was our 3rd attempt and we got super close to hitting it! So I’m super stoked on that! . Working more h2h reps has gotten me more conditioned towards stillness in my regular Handstand practice. In case you you’ve never flown h2h, bases fucking hate it when you move around a lot Bwahahahahahahahaha 😂 . That said, I can tell that I have several things to work on, in terms of staying tight while elevated. Grip, gaze, and hips...typical 😏 . My handstand alignment is pretty decent in my first handstand, but is banana back-y in my 2nd. 🤷‍♀️. Prep week - Day 1 Today is the first day of prep week for my new program as my team and I prepare to SHIFT! ❤️ Each day of prep week we have ✌🏻 tasks to focus on... one is physical and the other is nutritional. Today’s physical task was the challenge workout that is measuring our speed 🏃🏻‍♀️ The workout was only 15 minutes but omfgggg I’m sweating so much right now during cool down and my heart rate was through the roof!!! I really loved the conditioning style of this workout and TBH halfway through - 7 mins in- I thought I was gonna 🤮😂 it reminds me of outdoor track exercises during highschool, lol! I loved how different it was than previous programs I’ve tried, I can’t wait to track my progress and see how fast and strong I can get over the next month 💪🏻 The last move was 30 seconds of burpees, see how many reps you can do. I did 10 burpees!! How many can you do in 30 seconds? The nutritional task is focusing on hydrating our bodies and figuring out exactly how much water to drink each day. 💧 How we are calculating our daily water target is by diving our body weight (pounds) in half. That’s the number of ounces to aim for every day for the best results during this Mindset Shift workout program 🤜🏻

Had a breakthrough this weekend! 🙌🏽🎉 I finally got my #puppypress from the yoga blocks (graduated from the yoga ball) AND held my longest handstand yet!!! I know my line isn’t perfect and I still have a slight 🍌 back, but it sure feels good to feel that float up and being somewhat in control upside down 🤸🏽‍♀️. ——- I’ve been at this #journeytohandstand and #handstandpress for a while now. I cross train a lot to burn off stress and keep healthy, but recently in the past few months have tried to consistently integrate yoga, inversions, and calisthenics into my routines. All for physical and mental training, and learning to deal and work through stress in different ways. —— All the behind the scenes effort of practicing, falling, failing, getting up, stretching, foam rolling, flipping my nutrition so I lean-down and protein-up, keeping to regimented schedules while life keeps busy...there’s a lot of small changes over time that pay off when you hit your milestones. Day-to-day it can get discouraging, but all the commitments and plans are worth it over time no matter how small the forward steps are. —— I’m excited to see more #progress and keep pushing myself to the next level.
