💚GREEN DRINK💚 I was told to have a more high fibre diet so I started eating foods that were high in fibre. Nothing like homemade #hummus — My tastebuds are spoiled #sorrynotsorry but I legit can’t eat store bought hummus anymore. I’ve converted to either @bitchinsauce , farmers market hummus (basically homemade by someone else) or I make my own, and let the boy eat the store bought stuff.🤪 . This took me maybe 3 minutes of food processing & some cutting of herbs 🌿 but it was easy! . Needs: •Tahini (sesame seed paste) •Chickpeas (I used cartons but sometimes plan it out and cook the beans!) •Lemon •Olive Oil •Salt (cumin & paprika optional) You can add garlic or olives, avocado etc but make it natural first then get wild! Lots of recipes out there for exact measurements, Alexa or Siri can help ya with that!😉
Here’s another progress picture of my handsome hubby! Can you believe this is only a 22 lb weight difference?! Looks like he’s lost way more to me! He had only started working out about 1 1/2 weeks before our miscarriage on March 5th too. He’s still being mindful of his eating, even with ppl bringing us meals or using gift cards people have given us (thank you to all of you that have done this for us!😘🥰👏🏼). ✨ Recipe Time ✨ Acai bowls are my favourite post-workout treat but they are usually very $$$ 😢😢They can also contain up to 500 calories if you get all the ad-ons. Luckily they take less than 10 minutes to make and are super easy. You can also vary them and add clean peanut butter, choc mint, vanilla - whatever tickles your fancy 🤤🤤 (and depending on your nutrition needs and desires) ‼️My basic go-to recipe is: 2 x frozen bananas 1 x frozen Acai pack tiny dash of coconut water (less is more) 1. BLEND (in blender or NutriBullet) 2. Check on mixture regularly. Consistency should be firm and not too runny. 3. Put in bowl and decorate with your favourite fruit, nuts, seeds or protein treat🍎🍓🥭🥥🍌🍫🥜 4. Enjoy! To variate: Blend your flavour of choice in with the other ingredients at the start
