“YOU CAN HANDLE THE TRUTH” - One of the things I love the most about kids is they are the most honest people you can find. They have yet to learn the concept of living life with a filter and are completely unaware of when or how they are offending you. I don’t have kids yet but will spend time with friends kids as much as possible... they are So honest and pure and I love it! You want the truth... ask a child! They always keep it all the way real with me when I have not requested their input. I remember the first time I ever bought black skinny jeans. I put them on and a friends daughter said, “Why are you wearing leggings?” I said, “They’re JEANS.” She said, “Looks like leggings to me.” She had a point. When it comes to some of our closest relationships, I believe there are times when what we find offensive and destructive can actually be beneficial and constructive. If we are going to have successful careers, marriages, and lives, we must learn how to receive the truth without being offended by it. Proverbs 27 says this: “Wounds from a friend can be trusted, but an enemy multiplies kisses.” Proverbs 27:6 (NIV) The best way to receive honest feedback is by invitation-only. When criticism is uninvited, you will always be an open target to being offended. So one of the questions I often ask friends is this: What are some of my blind spots? One of my friend’s responses was this… “You have the ability to be the most engaging person in a room, and you also have the ability to be the most disengaging person in a room—and the room can feel it when you do either one.” I could not be more grateful for his perspective because positive feedback is exactly what allows me to grow and become the best version of myself. The more unoffendable I become, the more I leave space for people to help me see what I can’t see on my own. Who exists in your life that can tell you the truth? . . . . . #unoffendable#grateful#inspiration#love
Y’all! I strive to be honest and real and raw. And I strive to give as much love and grace as possible. So this post is gonna be a little bit of all of it. So gosh these last few days have been a whirlwind. And if I’m honest, the last few, or dare I say more, months have been a rollercoaster of emotions. So there’s that. Then, today. And it’s not huge. But this momma heart was disappointed. Today I go to change my little’s diaper and there’s no changing table in the women’s restroom. My little guy didn’t have the most pleasant of times nor did I... The struggle was real today. I’m not mad at them. I don’t harbor any hard feelings. I just wish there would have been something to facilitate adults with children. I say adults with children because I feel there need to be more changing stations for men’s restrooms as well. #real#raw#honest#love#grace#thestruggle#bethechange#reallife#momlife#dadlife#husband#dad#foryou#notsodifferentafterall#humanity#community#need#wish#momblogger#podcast#yall#this
I love this image. To me it represents the pain that comes from loving purely, and the decision to taste life’s sweetness anyway, even if it kills me. Unconditional love is what makes me feel most at ease. I truly love even the people who condemned me they didn’t know what they were doing even if they think they did, they are so cute like that! I love them even if they don’t know what love is, I will keep holding that vibration for them, and for you, unconditionally, no matter what. It’s not negotiable I will never hate you, because it’s not present in me, anywhere 🥰 . . .art by @radioshead . . . . . #love#angel#heck#doinmeaheck#doinmeabamboozle#unconditionallove#mood#vibe#me#girl#radioshead#art#beauty#beautiful#gorgeous#holyspirit#holy#pure#forever#spiritual#theta#reiki#amazing#amazinggrace#grace#aesthetic#crybaby#gold#baroque#style
Tonight’s the night, this year’s biggest super moon is here! I noticed the moon last night, leaving work. The moons peak was at 10:54 a.m ET today, Tuesday. According to google, (hahaha) February’s full moon, known as a Super Snow Moon, will be the brightest of 2019. Monday and Tuesday night will be the best times to see the moon. . . Tonight would be a great night to release everything that no longer serves you. Let go of toxic relationships, start to heal on all levels, ask for what you want, surrender. What you seek is seeking you. It’s your time. Miracles are happening. Get ready! . . With Love, . Zatoya Bryant ♥️

I haven’t shared a pretty little square photo is about a month (though I am present on stories daily showing our food prep, daycare lunches, meals and more). It’s been a busy time over here. My husband has left for work and won’t be back for just over 5 months. Juggling home and work solo can be hard enough, but this little guy here is having a hard time dealing with it all too which means so am I. I am his safe space. His punching bag. His comforter. His outlet. It’s a lot! I’m trying to navigate it all with love, kindness and compassion. It’s hard though, especially when I’m tired or since our approach is somewhat against social norms of shaming etc. and I feel judged. Eurgh I don’t know what my point really is, other than please bare with me as I might post less (but again, I’m on stories). And any tips for riding this wave with a 3yr old?
Repost from @cpnshows using - Why is it so easy to forget what God has done? The sad truth is that many Christians in the U.S. don't remember the great moves of God, even in the last century. In this episode, @stephenestrang interviews longtime friend Gene Bailey of Kenneth Copeland Ministries on In Depth with Stephen Strang. Listen as Bailey reminding the church of amazing revivals that have shaped history and pointing to how God is moving now. 👉Listen on iTunes, cpnshows.com, or wherever you listen to podcasts.
REAL WEALTH 🙏🏽 . ‘We need joy as we need air. We need love as we need water. We need each other as we need the earth we share. ‘ Maya Angelou Often we don’t get to under the reason why things happen the way they do in life. . We try to make meaning of so many things . I do. . But more and more I’m letting go of understanding the ‘whys’ instead feeling the grace of the experience. . These souls and I were serendipitously brought together a few years ago. . We have a deep connection that none of us can put into words. ... . It’s these connections and the magic we create within them that make a meaningful life . Understanding it - that’s not the point. The point is, only to feel the grace of it all. . The great mystery of ‘why’ doesn’t interest me as much as the experience of it. . Deeply honoured to have such souls on this journey - this is the real wealth of life. . 🙏🏽✨🌸 . #grace#meaningmaking#lifecompanions#sacredcircles#honouringwomen#truewealth#deepconnections#lifedoula#deathdoula#fteindshipislife#sacredwomenbusiness#womenswisdom#birth#life#death
... with a massive, beautiful, abundant love for everything that you are; all your quirks and your passions and that smile that you have. He loves you with all the love that He has - don’t you ever say that you are unlovable, friend.
I once considered running a half marathon, only to learn that I needed to refrain from certain foods. If there are food restrictions, more often than not, you can count me out. A runner not only benefits from rigorous training, but also a disciplined diet. Prior to a race, it’s recommended that runners refrain from large meals, fried foods, red meat, and dairy. What you eat may impact your performance. ➖ Does what I eat impact how I serve God? Does God love me less when I eat pork? Am I still God’s child when I drink? The Bible teaches us to do things out of love rather than judgment. If what I do causes another believer to stumble, I need to refrain from it while around them. The Kingdom of God isn’t based on food but on righteous living. ➖ People who believe in God sometimes exist in a bubble. Irrespective of who’s being impacted by our actions, we do whatever pleases us. However, as a believer, our way of life should be rooted in love: love of God, love of self, and love of others. Before taking part in this marathon, ask yourself: Is what I eat or drink more important than who I serve? ➖ “It is good neither to eat meat nor drink wine nor do anything by which your brother stumbles or is offended or is made weak.” Romans 14:21 NKJV ➖ #god#jesus#holyspirit#religon#faith#believe#jesuschrist#jesussaves#christ#christian#bible#verseoftheday#biblestudy#godislove#health#light#jesusislight#grace#pray#amen#art#hope#spiritual#spirituality#godlove#peace#quoteoftheday#nyc#church#love
