Vietnamese cooking class goodies! 💗🥬 #imadeit#hanoi . . If you saw my last post then you know how excited I was to take a vegan cooking class at Farm Foods Restaurant & Vegetarian in Old Quarter Hanoi. 🥢 If you didn’t see my last post then guess what?! I loved every minute pursuing the market for our fresh ingredients, learning about flavor profiles and cooking styles of Vietnamese cuisine, and of course the cooking! 🍃 But the best part... eating my creations! Banana flower salad, stuffed tofu in tamarind sauce, and phò chay (Vietnamese veggie noodle soup) my favvvvvv!! Yum, yum, and yum! 😛 Have you ever taken a cooking class abroad? Or maybe a foodie tour of a city? Def a couple super fun ways to engross yourself in the food culture of new places around the globe.
Where does your magic hide? 💫⠀ The best version of you, the confident, the unapologetic you, who knows EXACTLY which path to take.⠀ ⠀ Is she tucked up in bed with a book and a cup of tea ...or is she ordering a kebab at 2am after an epic night out? (no judgement boo, you do you 😉).⠀ ⠀ Wherever she is... go find her, and let her free. Let her do more of what she loves.⠀ ⠀ Those moments of natural bliss, are the fuel to her fire.⠀ Stay in your magic ✨⠀ ⠀ ⠀ #thehappynow#dowhatyoulove#seeksimplicity#darlingdaily#todaysgoodthing#theeverydayproject#pursuewhatislovely#theeverygirl#theeverydayproject#postitfortheaesthetics#visualcrush#goodvibetribe#highestself#embracechange#autheticself#selflovemovement#collectiveconciousness#findyourhappyplace#stayinyourmagic
Posted @withrepost • @thebreathguy This technique is called the “The 4-7-8 Breathing Exercise,” also called “The Relaxing Breath,” and was made popular by celebrity doctor, Dr Andrew Weil. This is based on pranayama, and acts as “a natural tranquilizer for the nervous system” that eases the body into a state of calmness and relaxation ☺️ ・・・ Although you can do the exercise in any position, it’s recommended to sit with your back straight while learning the exercise. ・・・ Place the tip of your tongue against the ridge of tissue just behind your upper front teeth and keep it there through the entire exercise. You will be exhaling through your mouth around your tongue; try pursing your lips slightly if this seems awkward. ・・・ ▪️Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound. ▪️Close your mouth and inhale quietly through your nose to a mental count of four. ▪️Hold your breath for a count of seven. Exhale completely through your mouth, making a whoosh sound to a count of eight. ▪️This is one breath. Now inhale again and repeat the cycle three more times for a total of four breaths. ・・・ The truth behind Weil’s 4-7-8 exercise is it takes practicing this twice a day over a month or 2 to perfect the technique until you can truly fall asleep in a minute. Once you’ve mastered it, it will become more and more effective and even help you deal with anxiety and stress in your life. Soon, going to bed will be as simple as taking a deep breath 😴

Posted @withrepost • @jayshetty Leave a 💛 if you've listened to my new episode on On Purpose with the inspiring @zacharylevi ! This was such an amazing interview and I cannot wait for all of you to hear what he has to share. He opens up about trauma, overcoming it, and being thankful for those trials. It's so hard to be okay with things that have hurt you in the past, but important to be thankful for where it has gotten you today and the lessons you've gained from it. LINK IN BIO
