Are you coachable?? ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ We all want the best coach and the best program, but it’s a two way street. If you are not coachable then you will always give up/not see results. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Coachability means you’re open to feedback, & constructive criticism without taking it personally. You’re able to look at your performance and improve it, and you generally have to have a go getter, bad ass type attitude. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Someone who isn’t coachable may have the following traits: ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Always thinking they’re right ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Not willing to try new things ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Inability to adapt to changes/circumstances ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Negativity/Pessimism (I can’t do this, it’s too hard kind of attitude) ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Lack of self-awareness or self-reflection ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Disrespectful to others/their opinions. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 👉🏽Generally unwilling to do what it takes to improve ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you’re not coachable or open to it you’ll quickly find that things usually become boring or difficult very quickly. If you are coachable then you’re able to adapt to, overcome challenges and adjust and readjust when necessary!
Another #trainertiptuesday for you guys - don’t say I don’t treat you! So there’s a common misconception that “fruit will make me fat” 🍌🍓🍉🍏 No food makes you fat - simply eating more than you need makes you fat! Eating a well balanced diet and getting in your fruit and vegetables will be much better for you than a diet of chocolate and fried food, however nothing should be off limits - you’ve just got to fit it in to suit you 🥗🍕🍩🥩🍻🍎🍐 I’ll be posting a blog about nutrition and diet later this week, but if you guys need any help or advice then feel free to contact me 😊
I find it fascinating that the definition of success can be entirely different for everyone. If you think about it, success is one of the only words in the English language that we as individuals can give our own meaning to. I think most people can agree that success is the achievement of desired visions and plans. You set goals for yourself and then you go crush them! Great success! (in the Borat voice 🤣) My question though is are you making those goals big enough? The success you experience, are you satisfied with it? Why are you setting those goals so small? You want to make $1000 extra a month? Cool but you also want to be a millionaire right? Tell me how those two work together... Listen, I get it because I struggle with this too and I didn’t even really know it was a thing until last year but... there’s such a thing as a fear of being successful. 😳 Yup. It goes back to that stupid little comfort zone I like to talk trash about... For example, you set a smaller goal to help you, one day, “achieve your bigger goal” but I’m gonna call you out on that right now. You’re setting that smaller goal because it’s more easily attainable. Therefore, when you achieve it, you’ll be “successful”. So then why aren’t you satisfied? Your definition of success is going to change depending on what life throws at you, but don’t settle for the small stuff. Go BIG or go home y’all! 😬 Honesty post... 🙋🏼♀️ I help entrepreneurs put strategies in place to make sure they are living the life they dreamt of when they quit the 9-5. I'm struggling with some of this myself at the moment 🤔 I took an excited run at January and by week 3 I was exhausted and had succumbed to a humdinger of a cold (no, I'm not sure where that word sprang from either!) 🤧 I feel a bit panicky, stressed and honestly quite deflated today. I had big plans for having a healthy and productive year, and it just feels like it's not heading in the right direction 😐 So, what does a coach do when things aren't exactly going to plan? She gets some coaching, of course! 🤗 After speaking to my lovely coach yesterday, I'm digging deep and really thinking about my priorities this week 😀 So, if like me you've forgotten what life outside work looks like and your body is begging for a break, it's time to listen to that clenched jaw, that achey back, that furrowed brow, that nagging headache 🤗 You really don't have to do this alone, I've totally been there and I'll be there again I'm sure. I'm passionate about there being more to life than work, however much you love your business - and I really believe a business isn't sustainable unless you've got strategies in place to take care of yourself along the way. A goal is the object of your ambition or effort - an aim or desired result. A goal can be big, like completing law school, or smaller, like losing those few pounds you gained over the holidays. You can have financial, health, family, friends, or work goals. What the goal is doesn’t matter as long as it’s the right goal for you. Hey my happy lil beans ☺️ a little update on my #gymshark66 journey so far💪🏼 - I have honestly felt so much better in my workouts and in my eating due to setting myself a goal each week to properly plan my meals, snacks and workouts😍 I feel like I have more energy and that I am getting stronger/leaner each day (hello lil ab) 💪🏼 I’ve been trying out new exercises and even pushed myself a little further out of my comfort zone and booked myself into some gym classes 😳 I have NEVER had the confidence to join a class until recently soooo yesterday I went to a yoga class and LOVED it🧡🧡🧡 I’ve even booked in to go again next week😇 - It looks like being organised and taking that extra step is really working and I cannot wait to see a real life change by the end of the challenge and how far I have came🤪 - Toodles pips, much love always💛

What's something you could (or even should) do today that you're a bit afraid to do? I (Cassie) struggle to volunteer for things when my perfectionism gets in the way. Whether it's singing an audition before I think I'm ready (I never will be), or hosting an event I'm not sure I can give 100% of my efforts to (no one can), I tend to let someone else do it. But I'm trying to change that, even in little ways, starting with this post! Gilbert is a bit apprehensive to share about the Magna Planner on video, but he is going to get some practice and do it anyway. So look out for that soon in our stories! What about you? ✨THE 5 SECOND TRANSFORMATION✨ Let’s be real, a picture does NOT show you everything. For all you know, that person who is your “image goals” could not be who you think they are. Maybe they struggle with body image Maybe they struggle with anxiety & depression. Maybe they have a really tough time gaining weight Maybe they have low self esteem. ....but you’d never know any of this by just looking at a picture... Truth: in the past, I would be super weird about sharing something like this. My self esteem and insecurities would be SCREAMING at me to not show ANYONE these photos 🙀 But then today, something else stood out. I was excited to take the picture with my belly out. I thought to myself... “This is me, why shouldn’t people see it?”🧐 plus, like my posture is fucking terrible and that’s just what I look like daily standing around 😂 That made me realize that I’m TRULY starting to fall in love with my body and I freaking love what I’m looking at in the mirror♥️ Health & fitness did that for me. It showed me that I am strong, I am beautiful and my flaws are gorgeous! And guess what girl.... so are yours... SURPRISE! This morning Lululemon Banff showed up with a card with my name on it.. Lululemon held a goal setting night recently, which I was so lucky to be invited to. We sat down and thought deeply about what we wanted our future to look like, and together set attainable goals to achieve our dreams. At the end, we were surprised to find out that one lucky attendee would be funded on our goal. They chose to help Summit Market. To help me grow and continue learning, by providing me the funding to attend the Northwest Culinary Academy of Vancouver.
