Staying cool in Croatia 😎 • Split was my first stop here, and it was so beautiful! The old town built into the walls of Diocletian’s palace was a twisty old heaven. Then I ate fresh pasta with tiny shrimps and watched the waves on the sea and made some new friends and petted a tiny cat.
I’m this kind of person that loves the simple things in life Y’all know, less but better 💓 one of many things that I love about Bulgaria is that everywhere I look I find something very interesting and of course I need to take a picture of it. Bulgaria has taught me to enjoy life and those tiny things that matter in life. Благодария България.

Maybe when I don’t have writer’s block I’ll be able to tell you about how ace @holybellycafe is 🙃 I’m super tired from getting up early two days in a row and getting back late last night so tonight it’s pasta, I imagine some sort of Netflix situation and an early night with a wish for words to come to me tomorrow.
Can you spot the little doggo hiding in the shrubs? This little guy followed us the whole way on our hike up to Skaros rock. @jennaparsons98 and I named him Ruffas 🐶 . Loved every minute of this hike! I cannot explain in words how breathtaking the views of Santorini were ☀️

Travelling to me is Not about Showing Off but about creating Memories, Capturing Moments, Embrace new Cultures, try New Food, Increase my knowledge and Basically be Amazed by All the Beauty in this World 😍 Yes you can do ALL That without Documenting it and Really Enjoy the Moment but Best Believe I do, the feeling and Experience can't even be Captured. That's why I mostly Post Days or Weeks After and The Best Moments are often "BTS".📸🎥🎬
5 years!! I can't quite believe it. This past weekend Sam and I celebrated our 5th wedding anniversary. We're yet to actually celebrate this together because Sam's been in Kenya, but that's another story.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ Kayaking is what brought Sam and I together and so it seems fitting to share this photo that I love that I took of Sam doing his thing during the Nile River Festival this past January. From the day I met Sam, I've loved watching him kayak, especially when he's learning new tricks, pushing his limits or competing (although that's very nerve racking for me). Whilst we both don't do it as much as we used to, I can't ever imagine the sport not being a part of our lives somehow.⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ 📷Sam Ward of @kayakthenile surfing 'the Pencil Sharpener' during the Hendri Coetzee Itanda Falls Memorial Race 2019⠀⠀ ⠀⠀ #myjinjalife#nileriverfest#kayaking#whitewater#uganda#fulltimeexplore#wheretofindme#globalwanderer#relationshiptalk#marriedlife
Today We are Featuring our Favorite Post by @ thehaphazardtraveler - I decided to go to the opera in Vienna too for my last night before heading to Budapest. It was a game-time decision - I waited until the last minute but I'm so glad I splurged! How gorgeous is the theater??? (⬅️ for 😍) . The Vienna State Opera House opened in 1869 with a production of Don Giovanni by Mozart, with Emperor Franz Josef and Empress Elisabeth present. The theater was not well-received; apparently it wasn't GRAND ENOUGH for discerning theatergoers. One architect had committed suicide and another died of tuberculosis, so neither lived to see its opening! 🙁 . In 1945 the building was partially destroyed by an American bombardment in WWII. It took 10 years to raise funds and complete reconstruction with improvements, but the theater reopened in 1955 with a production of Beethoven's Fidelio. . If you visit Vienna and want to get a peep at the beautiful theater, the website lists guided afternoon tours for a small fee on performance days. Or, to see a production for only a few euros, there are “standing room only” seats released 80 minutes before each show! Each theater-goer must be present at the box office to buy. Also, it's recommended to bring a scarf: not for your attire, but to tie on the railing and hold your place while you take photos, check your coat or get a drink with the money you've saved! (Scarf tip courtesy of my friend Diana, a classical singer who studied in Vienna!) . . . . . lifewelltraveled -

In the summertime, when the weather is hot, you can stretch right up and touch the sky. Have a drink, have a drive, go out and see what you can find. When the weather's fine, we go fishing or swimming in the sea.
