I’m so thankful for my friends. They drove all day, spent 11 hours in an airport, left their babies (some even breastfeeding), and left grad school/work/family behind to spend a weekend celebrating with me. You may think that just because I’ve worked in the health & wellness industry for over 15 years - that I’ve always had my own fitness together and that I’m always motivated in my wellness journey. You would be terribly WRONG. .. ———- .. I‘ve been the dieter/ binge eater who struggled with body image & self esteem so much to the point that it literally impacted EVERY aspect of my life. It wasn’t until I found THIS that my LIFE changed. .. ———— .. That’s what these challenge groups do for me. We aren’t always motivated. We don’t stick 100% to the nutrition plan EVERY day. We don’t give it our all EVERY work out. But we do try. We do support each other. We do log our workouts together and laugh sometimes about how ridiculous we all look doing the move that we all fell over trying. .. ———— .. What we do is SHOW UP EVERY DAY. We push play on our workout. Drink our superfoods, and swap recipes. We root for each other to make progress, and to remember why we started. .. ———- ..
