So I weighed in last Thursday on my 26th week. Given I’m feeling huge I was pretty pretty good with the results . Week 8 =63kg Week 20=65.5kg Week 26 =67.6kg——————————————————————— I’m definitely trying to stay in the best shape I can this pregnancy compared to my first pregnancy because I know the recovery and how long it can take but I’m not too worried or focusing too much on the weight gain but I am keeping an eye . Additionally it’s important to remember as per guidelines pregnant women only need to be taking on an extra 200 calories per day in the final trimester so it’s not a case of eating for 2. This is different for twins or more . (Altough there have been days where I have eaten for a small army ) 😂. If I could give any advice to my pregnant ladies is to make sure you are doing some form of exercise during your pregnancy . Ensure you are doing your pelvic floor and mobility exercises and do try to eat as well as you can . Doing the hard work now makes the recovery so much easier on the other side. ————————————————————————- #picoftheday#nutrition#strongnotskinny#irishfitfam#girlswholift#exercise#fitness#health#lifestyle#healthylifestyle#pregnant#baby#maternity#gym#fit#blogger#personaltrainer#diet#muscle#gains#fitbody#inspire#motivation#tuesdaytransformation#surrey#athlete#training

Realizing I’m not gonna be in the gym for a minute. I finally got to the point where I had a solid regimen again and now I’m out. Still trying to convince myself that I’ll still be in shape when I get back. It’s been 3 days and I already feel it...🤦🏾♂️ • • • I’ve been doing slight decline bench press instead of regular bench and it’s been working much better. The angle works my lower chest so I can get that “U” cup at the bottom. 👌🏾 • • • I warm up for a couple of sets then gradually work up to my max starting at 10 reps, then ending at 4. Try these and see if it makes a difference for you guys too!🔥🔥
May 2015 - October 2018 . . 3 years on and 12kg up on the scale 🙈 I’ve gained muscle and body fat in this time but my lifestyle has changed dramatically over the course of these 3 years! . On the Left, I was at the gym 6/7 days per week and lived by the phrase “my body is a temple” ; I was going through a post-breakup revenge bod phase and literally the only “bad” thing I would consume was alcohol on a night out! . It’s been a hell of a long journey with many ups and downs and I’m still learning and working towards where I want my body and fitness to be. BUT I’ve learned that in the process, life still needs to be enjoyed and you CAN enjoy alcohol, meals out etc without feeling guilty and worrying that your progress has been ruined! I go overboard sometimes and have weeks where I’m “off-track” but is there really such a thing or is that just life? 🤷🏼♀️ . Life is here to be enjoyed and body image is something that shouldn’t be obsessed over - although I’m hugely guilty of doing so, but I’m working on it 💖 . . . . #bodyimage#progress#transformation#transformationtuesday#aspiretoinspire#strongwomen#stopbingeeating#thisgirlcan#fitness#fitnessjourney#bethebestyou#workout#gym#fitnessmotovation#weighttraining#crossfit#bodybuilding#fitness#goals#health#healthymind#mentalhealth#gains#gainingweightiscool#strengthfeed#bodypositive#bodyconfidence
