So this morning I did the sample workout for Shaun T’s new Transform 20 programme and all I can say is wow!! 😅 . This is 20 minutes a day,  6 days a week for 6 weeks and WILL get results! 💪 . I’m not a traditional stepper but loved how the step is utilised to work the whole body, it seemed functional, multidirectional and oh so effective! . As he said himself it’s like insanity on the step! However don’t let that scare you there are modifications and you could even do it without the step and build up to it... . This programme is launching in January and Id love to help you through it 😊 . On the FOURTH day of Fitmas 🎄 #mytrainergavetome 10 c2g (chest to ground) BURPEES! . PRIMARY MUSCLES WORKED: 💪 Heart + lungs (yes we realise your lungs aren’t actually a muscle) and your entire body! . WHY: 🤷‍♂️ Better cardiovascular function, a total body workout in 1 rep . HOW: 🤔 Start standing. Squat down and place hands on the ground. Jump feet back into a plank position and immediately drop chest to ground. Release the hands before popping back up and jumping feet back to hands. Finish off with a vertical jump. . MODIFICATIONS: Burpee on an incline (using a bench or something) without dropping chest ground. . 👉 Alright - go conquer the move we all LOVE TO HATE! It’s Sunday funday!! As it’s now getting close to Christmas we want to share a free workout with you all 🎄🎅🏻 . So here it is! It is a 15 minute EMOM (every minute on the minute) with a 2 minute finisher. . For 15 minutes, every minute you need to complete 10 reps of 3 exercise. The exercises are: 1. squat jumps 2. frog jumps 3. crunches Once you’ve completed 10 reps of those 3 exercises, you can rest until the next minute starts, i.e. if I completed them in 40 seconds I get 20 seconds recover before having to do them again. . After the 15 minute EMOM, take 2 minutes recover then start the finisher. The finisher is a 2 minute round split into 4x 30 second blocks. Every 30 seconds the aim is to complete 10 burpees. . It’s Silly Season 🎄 and this means Sundays= 🤮. Here’s a quick #hangover session to sweat out those toxins from the night before and release all of the endorphins to help you feel back to your amazing self. 💦 5 exercises, 5 rounds. Do each exercise for one minute continuously and then take a 1 minute rest between each set of 5. it’s da weekend 🙌🏽🙌🏽 idk about youuu, but i like going out to dinner once a weekend! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ guys, eating out doesn’t have to ruin your progress and be a free for all everytime! you CAN eat healthy and stick to your goals while out! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ here i have • wild salmon • brown rice • roasted tomatoes & eggplant • ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ a good balance of protein to carbs to fats! carbs from the rice and some veggies, protein from the salmon, fats from a little olive oil & the salmon! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ i wanted to share some of #courtostoptips for making healthy eating more enjoyable and how to choose a healthier option when you’re out! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 1. EAT WHAT YOU LIKE - might seem like common sense to eat what you like but so many people believe they need to completely change the way they eat and eats foods they hate! if you hate broccoli but love string beans.. that’s fine!! if you can’t stand white rice but could live off of roasted potatoes - eat those! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 2. ROTATE FOODS - if you meal prep the same meals or always eat the same thing - change it up! substitute one vegetable for another, try a different source of protein etc! try something new!!! there’s tons of foods out there! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 3. DRESSINGS / OILS - if you’re out to eat, ask how the meal is prepared. if you know it’s laden with butter and oil.. ask for none or for it on the side. same with salad dressings, save your cals by controlling how much you put on! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 4. WILD vs. FARM - if you love salmon (like me) always ask if it’s wild or farm raised!!! wild salmon is high in omega-3s which our bodies can’t produce itself and are essential! farm raised salmon is 3x higher in fat but those fats come from omega-6s which cause weight gain for most americans! ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 5. Heavy legs then some conditioning for my next @spartanau race. E2MOM 10 rounds 60kg each hand farmers walk for 30m 80kg sled for 30m Building the engine back up for the Spartan start and stop sequence. Spartan race is all about the recovery between obstacles and the accuracy, stamina and explosive power you may  need for the obstacle. Strength is my ace up the sleeve while agility and speed are sub par. The goal is to round a few of these out before March but first and foremost is to build the engine to recover better at the moment. Crowded gym, limited time, limited equipment, limited space = NO PROBLEM.. full body barbell complex is it ✅ ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ 🏋🏽‍♀️All you will need is a fixed barbell and a little bit of floor space. Our full body workouts not only require strength but a high level of endurance so when choosing your weight, you want to keep in mind that there is little to no rest in between exercises.. After missing my workout yesterday it felt GOOD to movw my body today!!!! My a$$ is still sore. DEFINITELY felt it during every squat, lunge, and sprint😂😂😂 But with the help from my #momjuice I powered through & am now a sweaty mess & feel so much better!!!! 25 mins of my day...no equipment needed...just my ipad...i didnt even wear sneakers today...and Im done!!!! love having the ability to hit PLAY anytime that works in MY day!!!! #athomeworkouts #convenient  #bestworkoutsathome
*professor Farnsworth voice* GREAT NEWS EVERYONE! • I found me a #personaltrainer 😻. He’s so dope😬. He’s willing to visit my AirBnB to check out my set up and set me up @ 🏡, so when I return in the #newyear we can work from a gym! He’s given me the basics on nutrition. And most important - he has experience working with injured clients 🙏🏿. • He taught me a lot, so I’m sharing my main takeaways. My routines gotten me this far but it’s time to switch it up by adding in weights to build muscle, burn fat and challenge my bod. • He shared the fact that my genes are in control of where I lose fat, aka whether or not my boobs stay 😦. • Bc my family is the first to immigrate here, I haven’t grown up seeing the various body types of the females in my family. I know most of my aunts are big and many of my cousins are small. Some may be proportionate - but I gotta FB stalk em to confirm 😅. • So I’m pretty much venturing into the unknown but I am #hereforit 😊. • Still hoping I don’t end up with less than a C 😧or B at that *church faints*. • So today I tried a new #freeworkout app  called Workout Trainer by Skimble! • It starts by asking what your goals are and which types of workouts you already enjoy. • I chose to target core strengthening and I’m so impressed! For the first time in ever I had the strength to do #pilates without giving up! A true example of a #nonscalevictory • Pros.: it’s s free app with the option to purchase #workoutplans. You can add #workouts to your phone’s calendar, which keeps you #accountable & #ontime! I do like that it’s more flexible than the Keep Trainer app on scheduling, but... • I still love Keep Trainers formatting! The Workouts app doesn’t transition as smoothly between workouts. It was quite confusing (tmr I will read the workout descriptions first). • The voice and music in Keep flow seamlessly. • But this comparison reminded me that I’ve actually gotten 2

Didn’t see anything while in the stand, but came in to get some work in. Bench actually felt really good today. Worked up to 225 for two sets of 10 and felt like I had at least a few more reps in the tank, but didn’t have a spotter so called it at 10. The real killer was what came after though. Dropped the weight to 135 and did a 10 second lower, quick pause, then press up quickly. 5 reps per set. Essentially each set equates to right at 1 minute time under tension. It had my pecs on fire 🔥 Control the weight and keep your pecs tight the entire lift. Gotta keep building up more work capacity so I can start pushing heavier and heavier

✨ It’s about that time of the year ✨⠀ ⠀ The time where we say “This year I’ll do better”. Or “this year I’ll accomplish that goal.” ⠀ ⠀ Why not start now? I’ve never understood resolutions. I guess working in the fitness industry in high school showed me what “resolutions” did for people. Gyms sold as many memberships as possible at first and literally banked on people not showing up. And not just physically not showing up, but mentally too. ⠀ ⠀ What’s your goal? Why aren’t you striving for it? If you don’t make time for what you want, then it isn’t a priority. It’s as simple as that. Cold, hard truth! If you don’t make what you want a priority - be it health, wealth, happiness, travel, etc. - THEN NO ONE ELSE WILL! ⠀ ⠀ Don’t wait for January 1st. Write down your goals and start crushing them.
