Their beautifully made wedding with these gorgeous creatures called, “SHARKS!!”, is my future wedding inspiration to me, hoping that I would have the same kind of wedding @juansharks and @oceanramsey had. It’s not even just my wedding and I still feel blessed to have both of them share the truth bout all these sea mammals and fish, mainly #sharks as many misunderstand the importance of their existence. It’s time to set the truth free and be embraced. Subscribe to both @juansharks and @oceanramsey to see the beauty that many of gig never seen before bout Sharks and I guarantee y’all this, you’ll never wanna leave your daily life without SHARKS EVER❣️❣️❣️ＳＨＡＢＢＡＴ♥︎ＳＨＡＬＯＭ to ＡＬＬ🦈♥️♥️♥️❣️❣️❣️ Don’t forget to subscribe to @juansharks and @oceanramsey. Also, if ever you will like chilling these cuties when you pass by their area and the only person I’ve ever known that is a natural Shark Whisperer #repostplus @juansharks - - - - - - Beautiful waters of French Polynesia meet my gorgeous wife/mermaid on our wedding day. I fell in love with @oceanramsey for thousands of reasons, but the thing that constantly inspires me is her drive and deep rooted passion for shark conservation. Just getting her to take some time off for our wedding was a mission. Even during our wedding she was so concerned for the shark bill in Hawaii , taking time to talk to local fishermen and spear fishermen on the importance of sharks, stopping constantly everywhere picking up trash even if it was not even close to the ocean, she would say “get it just incase the wind takes it there”. Thank u Ocean for inspiring me to be a better person and ocean conservationist. Even making me bike back to the local market to buy dog/cat food for the local homeless starving strays. Tag someone that inspires u. I shot this on my @aquatech_imagingsolutions housing for my @canonusa 1dxmark2 using a 16 to 35mm lens
#savesharksstopsharktourism Attention Hawaii fishermen/spearos. READ! If you repost please share caption. Cont'd in comments. If you haven't heard, a bill has been proposed that will carry hefty fines for people fishing for sharks(among other things) in Hawaiian waters. (SB2079 or what I call BS2079)The people lobbying for this bill keep preaching how sharks play such a vital role in the ecosystem of our oceans. I agree, so stop feeding and harassing them and leave them alone! Some of the biggest advocates for this bill are shark tour operators here on Oahu. I'm not a shark researcher or scientist but it doesn't take one to comprehend certain things about their behavior. These sharks are baited at the buoys so that their customers get what they pay for ...a shark encounter. Of course they don't feed the sharks publicly. The sharks eventually get trained to the sound of the boat engines and associate them with food. Pretty much the same way a dog will hear you open the cabinet where you keep it's treats. You don't have to be Steve Irwin to figure out that sharks are going to keep going where the food is. Keep repeating the process and essentially you're altering their behavior. Many of these "insta-researchers" have never fished or hunted a day in their life. The same thing goes for the people making laws. I know first hand that some of them don't eat meat or fish and are against fishing completely. I'm all for protecting sharks against wasteful things like finning, but they should also protect sharks against this shark tourism. The constant harassment, feeding, and human interaction is just going to encourage more human interaction. That doesn't usually go well for one party or the other...if you wanna protect something keep it as far away from humans as possible. I'm not well versed in native Hawaiian culture, but do know that many locals consider sharks sacred. My proposal here is that if shark fishing is banned in Hawaii, shark tourism should be

California halibut (Paralichthys californicus), as well as other species of flatfish, are by far one of the most unique fish in the ocean. Their unique characteristics make them effective predators as they’re able to ambush unsuspecting prey by camouflaging and burying themselves in sand to avoid detection.
