I am using a 25# bumper plate to help maintain a neutral spine, eliminate rocking and excessive momentum, manage ROM by providing proprioceptive feedback and kinesthetic awareness, and help me keep a near-parallel bent over position. . . I’m using my 28kg #kettlebell from @kettlebellkings
There is nothing more important then form, performing an exercise correctly will not only decrease the chance of injury during training but you will also see your results come so much faster. . . . So next time you’re under the bar try dropping the weight but 5-10lbs and really controlling the movement, focus on getting a full range of motion in every exercise and squeeze the muscles you are trying to use.

So the mountain climber is one of the best cardio and core exercises out there.. it is a full body exercises really, hitting lots of major muscles in the shoulders , legs and core region.. it is also a very accessible core exercise if done properly but it's also one of the most badly performed exercises.. In the video , I show first the correct way , maintaining a neutral spine, hands underneath shoulders, driving the knees Into the chest area. For beginners I would start at a slow pace and build up the speed as you get better. However i show also the incorrect way to do it.. in the two ways I show, you see the v shape hip angle which can have adverse effects on the lower back and what I like to call the stop start climber which lessens the core building impact of the exercise.. these are the two most common mistakes I see..
