Saturday mornings are my favourite because I actually get to prepare my breakfast properly.  This morning I had carob pancakes with banana and cashew.  The pancakes themselves are failsafe however banana and roasted cashews are not.  Recipe to come 😌
THESE I brought with me on my trip to South Dakota and Europe these last weeks. Being on my current journey to figuring out all these weird digestive issues I’m having, I was a little anxious about the food options I’d have/not have while traveling. I was trained in the traditional medical model, at Vanderbilt University. - I was premed in undergrad, then went on to grad school at Vandy as well, and graduated as a nurse practitioner... my very first job after school was running 9 outpatient clinics for the hospital. 🙋🏼‍♀️📙💉 - I saw patients all day, I was on call at night, and came in on weekends. I actually did love my job! UNTIL.... I quickly realized, despite me dedicating so much of my time and energy to this job, I wasn’t actually helping anyone 🤕 not really - the main reason I got into the health field in the first place!! - I started seeking out better ways to help people with their health, myself included, and after going back to school (yet again!) at the Institute for Functional Medicine, my eyes were opened to the world of actually helping people heal their bodies, to making a much bigger difference.  After this, I just couldn’t stand the traditional medicine model anymore. - I quickly switched to practicing fully functional medicine, left that hospital job, and created a virtual practice 💻 of my own... not only was I able to work from wherever I want, whenever I want, with only my laptop or phone… But I was actually making way more of a difference in the world and in the lives of my clients. - Suddenly, I found myself having clients heal all sorts of autoimmune diseases, rid themselves of nagging symptoms, and even shrink tumor size in 6 months or less of working w me. - My elite high-performing clients, executives, CEOs, celebrities, & athletes, we’re performing better than they ever had by simply understanding their unique physical body and internal bio-chemistry on a deep level.
