We didn’t plan to be at our prior location for so long so by the time we got to 📍Bella Trattoria, SF I was hangry! I downed a whole platter of salami and a huge sprite at the bar in a mere 30 seconds. Then I just couldn’t stop and ate my truffle pasta as fast as humanely possible before I could even remember to get some good pics for our fat ass in the bay content. This is a shout-out to all the food bloggers out there who spend countless hours creating recipes for special diets. I would be lost without you all. This recipe by @realfoodwithjessica is paleo, whole30 and low fodmap, and I didn’t have to make a single substitution to be able to enjoy this meal! I am getting very good at substitutions but it’s still tiring so a recipe that can be made as-is is a miracle. Koodos to the recipe developers who give me life! 👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏👏 . . I’ve definitely hit a wall, with this diet. 5 months on the #sibo bi phasic diet which means no sugar, no alcohol, minimal carbs and extremely limited fruits and vegetables, which is so hard to wrap my head around. I’ve lost patience because I’m not feeling better. Anything that’s not meat or a tomato hurts (slight exaggeration 🤷🏼♀️). So it’s time for something to change. I’ll be exploring some new options tomorrow with my naturopath and the next day with my MD.
