Transformation Thursdays! Woot woot.. which means it’s almost Friday 😝. But for now here’s a throw back to my fitness beginning (Aug 25, 2017) to 2018. My main goal when I started was to shed fat and tone my core, as it was always an INSECURE area for me. Looking back I have not only checked ✔️off that goal, yet SURPRISED myself in achieving other goals I didn’t even know I had set (look at those biceps😛). Seeing my hard work pay off by these #gains not only makes me PROUD AF, yet fuels me with MOTIVATION to keep pushing further. ••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••A tip if you’re just starting out 💡 take it ONE day at a time. Science makes it almost impossible to build muscles like men, unless of course you’re using some extrinsic help or have some genetic anomaly with high testosterone levels. On Wednesdays, my mom picks up my kids from school so she can spend some time with them. Life is busy, but that's one day a week that they can count on seeing mémé and pépé. They look forward to it and actually never want to come home!! (What am I doing wrong here... Lol) I'm usually off work before my husband so I have a little bit of time for myself to do whatever. Today I went to the gym, sometimes I go tanning, sometimes it's grocery shopping (which, if you've EVER been with children, then you know that this is a major stress reducer) The point of this post was to let you know that it's usually every man for himself for dinner on Wednesdays. It's also garbage night, so I tend to clean out the fridge so that nothing yucky sits in there for another week until the next garbage collection. ENTER, TONIGHT'S MEAL. (DUN DUN DUNNNNN) I had 2oz leftover ribs, 2.5oz leftover pork chops , 3oz fresh white mushrooms, 5oz fresh baby spinach, 2oz red and yellow peppers, 0.5oz white onion, 1tbsp minced garlic, salt, pepper and red pepper flakes. I sauteed everything together, seasoned it and served it with garlic mayo. I am being patient and waiting for my strength to come back after taking a huge blow to my health. • My goal is to be healthy for myself, my husband, and to be good to go for nationals in July! • I did 125 for my first set of 8 and felt like I had a little more in the tank... so I did 130 for my last 2 sets of 8... definitely not the heaviest I have done for sets of 8’s but I am working on getting back to where I was and stronger. • I have a pretty legit coach. Taki jest stan rzeczy na dzień dzisiejszy. Coś tam udało się zbudować. W tym roku będzie mała zmiana. Pierwszy kwartał z naciskiem na cardio, poprawiamy kondycję, krążenie i doprowadzamy brzuch do ładu. Zobaczymy co tak naprawdę się zbudowało i ile. Finally getting back in my groove mentally and physically. Sometimes it’s okay to reset and take a break. It’s okay, as long as if you get back to it again. I’ve figured out a lot during this break; and that’s how much I need to workout, mainly for my mental. Overall I just feel better about myself. Dont get stuck in your break.
