Here’s my tip number 2 for lean growth and not burning up that hard earned muscle in the gym. Take in a protein shake with some leucine within an hour before training as to protect your muscle to be broken down as an energy source especially on a big leg day 💪🏼
Potato nachos 😝 One of my favorite dinners that I can only have about once a month because it’s so filling and I don’t ever wanna get sick of it 😂 tried a new mock meat this time and it was awesome! It included mushrooms, cauliflower, walnuts and spices 😋 it even looks like real meat 👀 The only thing I will do different to the meat next time is add some cooked onion! Besides that, I topped with cashew cheese, garlic mayo, and all my favorite veggie toppings! All of this made with 100% Whole Foods ☺️

I’m a people pleaser. Always have been I love to be in a position to help people out. I’ll say yes to everything that I can, and often things that I can’t. 🙈 But day after day, week after week, I lose a little bit more of me. For the first time in my life, I love my work and my job. But there is such a thing as too much of a good thing. 😳 I haven’t trained consistently in over 8 months. Today I realized that I need to do some reclaiming. And I get there are many of you out there who feel the same way. #️⃣ So today I’m making a pledge that I hope you’ll make too: I’ve put myself last for the last time.
Dear the Megan on the left: THANK you for saying yes. THANK you for believing in yourself for a split second- long enough to get involved with a company you had little faith in- because it CHANGED you. THANK you for being strong in the darkest period of your life. YOU have no idea that the Megan on the right is even attainable yet, but she is. She is beautiful, she is stable, she is confident, and she loves herself. She is who she is because YOU did the hard work. YOU showed up consistently. YOU cleaned up your nutrition. THANK you for granting yourself permission to get better, even when you thought you didn’t deserve it. I LOVE you. ❤️
I HAD NO IDEA.... NO CLUE... See when I started hosting my groups online I had NO idea how it would change my life! How much I would learn about my own health in the process of helping others, and how to lead by example for others and most important my family. I'm not always perfect, matter of fact many days I struggle. But over the years I learned that these groups help me to see that I don't need perfection! That healthy isn't about the physical as much as it is how you feel and how you can help others to feel about themselves. They encourage me, and inspire me to just keep trying. Instead of doing a standing straight bar pull down, I decided to try it kneeling. I really felt the activation in my lats doing it this way. I’m all about switching things up this year so I don’t get bored!
