As work these days tends to mean I’m travelling quite a bit, I took the opportunity to have an early night in my hotel room watching Children in Need last night. Needless to say I was laughing and smiling one minute and then crying and in bits the next... . So many times in my life I have felt sorry for myself, caught up in my own distress and situation. Looking back, I put myself there by choosing the wrong people to be around or not organising my life properly ... my choices led me to a life with increasing pressure that I didn’t need or want! . I’m always humbled and touched by other people’s stories. Last night showed some incredible families and children, the adversity and cruel hand they have been dealt was heart wrenching. The strength these wonderful people had was mind blowing. It shows that until you find yourself in a situation where you have no choice but to be strong, you have no idea just how strong you can be. . I immediately texted my girls to tell them just how much I love them. Thankfully I have not yet had to find out just how strong my inner strength is. It’s been tested but not to it’s limit! .
