My reworked recipe for #blueberry#cheesecake#oatmeal it almost perfect, so it's time to share it with you! Blueberry Cheesecake Oatmeal 2C Oats (I did 1C rolled and 1C steel cut) 1 1/4C almond milk (or your preference) 2 Eggs 4oz Cream Cheese (I opted for fat free) 4oz Greek Yogurt (homemade is best) 10oz Blueberries (fresh or frozen) 2Tbsp sweetener (I used brown sugar) 1/2 tsp cinnamon 1 tsp Baking Powder 1 tsp Vanilla Extract 1/3 C Pecans (toasted and chopped, optional) Heat oven to 375°F. Mix dry ingredients together and set aside, mix wet ingredients together breaking up the cream cheese so it is small lumps in the mixture. Combine wet and dry ingredients until just mixed. Add blueberries and fold to combine. Spray 8x8 square baking dish with non-stick spray or line with parchment paper. Pour oat mixture into prepared dish flattening the mixture into an even layer. Bake at 375°F for 40-45min or until knife inserted in the middle comes out clean. As I am sitting down on my way to work. I just wanted t say thank you for every person that reached me out yesterday. I truly didn’t expect so many calls, messages, even dms from people I haven’t even met. You may want to sit back and listen. This is going to be a long post. I am not that kind of person that will complain about everything that goes wrong in life, or say out load when something goes extremely well. I just learned to suck it in and continue. But as I am in a new city, new people, new job I somehow lost myself, there were so many negative people in my life, that were not happy when I succeed. Instagram can maybe show you part of me (fitness and whatnot) but that’s not all of me. I try to apply “treat people with kindness and expect nothing in return for God’s the only you should lean on and expect love and guidance. I am not perfect or everything you see is not perfect. I struggle most of the time, there are days I have no self love and I feel guilty I can not be to anyone’s expectations but today I want to get up and start over and I thought I pile share this with you. And if I made a little impact in your journey then keep going, you may fall down a couple of times but it matters that you get up.

Weekend adventures in Michigan! Mike and I were long distance for almost 6 out of the 12 years of our relationship! We spent every single weekend of those 6 years traveling anywhere from 3-6 hours (one way) to see each other! ... Although distance sucks, it forces you to work on strong communication, and cherish every moment spent together! So thankful to be where we are today! ❤️
Last week felt like a blur ... Time to get focused this week and work on the blog, edit photos for my clients, catch up on house stuff, finish christmas shopping, get all my workouts in this week and more... . Throughout my busy week I need to remind myself to take time for ME and have some downtime to read my devotional, finish my book I'm reading and breathe. . So happy Monday all and make sure you make time for yourself to breathe, rest and make time for the things you enjoy to unwind! ❤️

I hate endurance days. We had a 9.5 minute block on the rowers this morning 😫 followed by 10 minutes on the treadmill. I always opt to do the strength floor first. Today was TRX and body weight exercises for the most part. It’s still a great way to start my week. #fitnessjourney#weightlossjourney

Don’t think I’m on track to lose the weight I wanted to this week.. important thing to remember is that I’m replacing fat with muscle so it’s okay not to see the scale move.. still hard for me and I know others to accept. Okay, maybe not like that. I actually enjoy the workouts and the sweaty feeling of doing something to challenge my body. • And let’s be honest, we look at the scale more than we should. And it matters what it says more than it should. Fit means something different to everyone. Just make sure it doesn’t mean you’re depriving yourself of what your body needs. Don’t deny yourself something and feel guilty if you overindulged. • Discover a better relationship with yourself, with food and with movement. This morning was miserable. 😫 I drank for the first time in over two years last night. I didn't feel sick when I woke up, but definitely wasn't feeling great either. I had to take 10lbs off my squats. How do people do this shit? Party all night and train the next day? Ugh. I don't ever want to drink again.

Good morning everyone and happy Monday!!! What’s on deck this week for everyone? I have one more final to take on Thursday and then I am DONE with this degree; that’s my big thing for the week!! I’m also FINALLY feeling better so I’m going to be working on refocusing my nutrition and pushing hard in all of my workouts this week 💪🏻 Time to get back to my routine and be consistent again! 👯♀️🙌🏻 It’s not about how little you eat or maxing out every single workout - this journey is all about consistency.....the things you do habitually every day add up over time and are what get you to your goals! So I’m starting my morning with a chocolate shake that’s filled with all of the vitamins, nutrients, antioxidants, and protein my body needs to get back on track - and it’s SO SO YUMMY! It feels like a cheat meal....but it’s not 🤫 Hope everyone starts their week off right with a great Monday! What’s on your calendar for the week?

GOBLET SQUATS!!! . . Such a nice feel exercise! . Really good finisher for the quads! . Can go nice a low, getting a good stretch in the quads and then keeping constant tension without pausing at the top. . Ensuring a straight back, knees over toes, full ROM, no pausing at the top (for quads), mid foot pressure, braced core, consistent breathing, thinking chest up and knees out (not colapsing in)! . .
