Tried out @bodyattacksportsnutrition 'Lipo 100' drink on Saturday before my match. It was orange and grapefruit flavour. Overall it was grand, the taste was fine, a little bland but not too sweet or sour. It claims to be a 'low calorie soft drink with sweeteners' though I couldn't see how many calories. There's about 160mg of caffeine in the 500ml bottle also. Probably got a kick from it but with the weather that was on the day it was hard to tell. A fine drink but I'd probably pick up something else with a better flavour. Nice to try out, maybe the fat burning element will become evident when I get on the scales on Wednesday 😂. Thanks to @leydenssportsnutrition for sending me this to try out.
Social norms; defined as informal understandings that govern the behaviour of members of a society… Basically what you're expected to do in any normal social place at a given time.. This was something I only began go realise was actually a thing when I began eating healthy.. If, like myself, you work in an environment where repetitive eating habits are well and truly cemented in, going against these social norms can be difficult. You may just do the same thing over and over again until it becames the norm; go for full Irish frys, chicken rolls or carvery for lunch, and all those takeaways. You may work in a tight knit office or unit, It's just what you do right? Well when I took the decision to start eating healthy it was something that somewhat went against the social norm. It involved pre prepped food in little lunch boxes “borrowed” from a Chinese Restaurant. Occasionally it involved some ridicule, jokes and jibes that weren't meant in a malicious way, but nonetheless could have caused someone to give in to the takeaways and dump the pre prepped grub. Its something you're just expected to laugh off and say “Ah fuck off would ya”.. But seriously, to that guy or girl trying to tempt you into a takeaway or trying (purposely or not) to get you of plan; fuck off! Why the hell would you see someone who has made a conscious decision to try and improve themselves, someone who may have a bit of an issue with food and food choices, and try ridicule them into veering off their pre prepped foods? The fuck is wrong with you? If that's their two cents, they're good they can keep it 🖕 You have the ability to create a new social norm, why wouldn't you? It can sometimes be difficult, sometimes it can even be a little lonely, but ultimately all that prep and going against the social norm grain will be worth it... In a few weeks, months when you're looking better and people start to notice the change they'll come to you and ask how you did it and you'll

EAT is just exercise.. NEAT is all that other movement and stuff you do that isn't necessarily "exercise".. (#neatup247 @direnkartal92 ) And whilst I knew what these were before I started working with Paul I never fully appreciated exactly how each one could affect you. Since starting will Paul he's had a very very simple idea of just moving more. If I was doing 8000 steps a day he would want me to do 10,000. Little movements over the course of the day all add up and your steps start to accumulate pretty fast. These steps add up and before beginning with Paul I had become generally very very lazy, which I can tell you did not lend itself to active days. I found myself spending long hours watching television, sitting down scrolling facebook for ages, I could have been doing anything, but no I plonked myself somewhere and did nothing. I could have gone for a walk, I could have gone to the gym but I decided I'd rather sit and watch a repeat of Friends or The Chase instead of going doing something that could be a bit more beneficial for me. That bad habit messed me up for the last I don't know how long... In the last few months since starting with @pauldermodypt I'm beginning to see exactly how just moving more can affect me. I can't express how important just moving is, after a few short months I find myself going for a walk sticking on a podcast or an audiobook grabbing a cup of coffee and just walking. Ive regularly found myself walking on the beach, so lost in the audiobook or podcast that I've walked much further than I'd intended completely unbeknownst to myself. Continued in the comments ⬇️

I'm now officially 2 years this month medication free so that's 2 years without having to turn to any kind of antidepressants, anxiety tablets, or sleeping tablets, last year was a good year for me both mentally and physically espically just like this this year has also been good too both mentally and physically and just for just being able to do so many different things and being able to go to so many places I've never been too before and just being able to come out of my shell a lot more for example when I agreed to dressing up as Santy last week for a birthday party that honestly wouldn't have been me a few years back because I would've bottled it 100% but hopefully I can get through 2019 still feeling great both mentally and physically the way I have been the last 2 years and then go on to hopefully make it 3 years medication free, anyways roll on tomorrow night for my work Christmas party. 👍💪#Gym #toningup#cardio#situps#pressups#weights#healthyeating#cleaneating#fitness#fitnessireland#fitfam#fitfamireland#instafitness#instafitfam#mentalhealth#physicalhealth
