👊🏼 Climbing a slippery pole during Alya’s (5 yo) karate class while keeping an eye on Ilan (2.5 yo). 45 mins is not enough to go do something else but classes are held in a school so lots of possibilities to use @movnat techniques for @naturalmovement :-) . 🧠 Is pole climbing a standard fitness movement? Is the pole grippy or nice and round? It doesn’t matter as I am training for physical capabilities not specific fitness movements. This works primarily upper body pull strength but engages the full body. . ⚠️ I also know that if I need to climb on top of this roof to give assistance or escape danger, I can do it easily using a similar pole on the side. . 🛋 Nearly all parents wait on the school grounds the 45 mins of the class because there isn’t much to do nearby. All of them except 1 or 2 just sit somewhere, bent over their phones. Most complain they’re to busy to train when they come and discuss what I do… Hopefully I can convert some! . #movnat #naturalmovement #naturalmovementfitness

Day 36/42: . Last week of my 6 week 20 minutes a day program! Can’t believe it’s it’s almost over ........ . I really didn’t think I would love a program more than the one that got me in the best shape of my life (even after having a baby) #liift4 and I was very unsure of the whole 80’s step workout lmao ...... . But I found out on day 1 ..... I was way wrong ..... and I knew this 6 weeks was gonna challenge me more than ever before and I was totally right ..... going into my last week I feel stronger than ever .... and it’s not just physically it’s mentally! I have fallen in love with this program and @shaunt for really pushing me in every aspect of my life and making me believe in myself! 😍💪❤️ . I’m ready to kill this last week and start round 2 March 4th!  I think this program is for everyone and everyone needs alittle Shaun t in their life! O cortisol é libertado sempre que teu corpo se encontre em stress físico, como treinos intensos, doenças, lesões, ou até mesmo problemas psicológicos como, ansiedade, preocupações, etc. Treinar muito, nutrir e descansar pouco, é muito provável que possas produzir cortisol.. O treino é catabólico, aumentando assim a libertação de cortisol, tendo assim, a insulina um papel fundamental no pós treino, diminuindo a degradação proteica e a libertação de cortisol.. "insulina desliga cortisol" Embora a libertação de cortisol não possa ser totalmente evitada, pode sim, ser controlada. 🔔  Algumas das minhas estratégias são: ✔️não exagerar no treino ✔️procurar gerir stress ✔️dormir bem ✔️diminuir consumo cafeína, ✔️suplementar com vitamina C etc

Finished my #mealprep this morning by assembling the last few items: 1. Black bean taco salads (@skinnytaste fast and slow for the black beans, @laurengleisberg for the ranch, and @lillielovesmacros for the pickled onions) 2. My Instagram versus reality breakfast - @birchbenders protein pancakes with airfried veggies, @traderjoeslist fiesta cashew cheese and egg whites. I made mine fancy today since I have a day off but plan on zapping the other boxes in the microwave.  Excited to have a day off but then also excited to pack these up in my new camping lunchbox. Swipe to see how I felt ending last week. • Last week was a mix of highs and lows. I started out the week really well, eating nutritious foods and working out and as the week continued I just feel to the depths of fast food 🍟 2 times a day and no workouts 😴. • Because of this my stomach has been very angry with 🥴 me and I have not felt like myself. I have had really bad acid reflux (which I have struggled with all my life) and have felt very down. 😕 So this week I am ✔️Drinking TONS of Water 💧💧 ✔️Eating Fruits and Vegetables with every meal 🍏🍊🍓🥬🥦🥕 ✔️Working out to my full potential because I can, not because I have to🏃🏽‍♀️💪🏼🏋🏼‍♀️ • I hope you have a great week and if you are struggling, set yourself some goals and put them into the universe! You will achieve them!

Training for running races is new for my body, but I am really enjoying it. ⁣ ⁣ I’m doing a great combination of weight training and power training. And of course running. Right now I am only running three days a week and I look forward to it which is also a huge first for me.⁣ ⁣ It is a very odd change for me to make sure I get my runs in each week. ⁣ ⁣ For example last night I did not feel very well but I only got two of my three runs in and was feeling guilty that I might not get my third in. So this is the line left when I take of my ring. But I  can tell you it looked very different before I started losing weight. It used to be a skinny line (couldn't see the flat). My fingers were fatter so when the ring was off, the fat bunched together. [Hold Yourself Accountable] ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Motivation is great for getting yourself off the ground but discipline and accountability  will get you to the moon. Fitness goals can be difficult stay motivated because they are usually long term and progress can be hard to see sometimes. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ When you have high levels of motivation, it is important to have some strategies that will help hold you accountable. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ An easy one that you should start today is scheduling out your actions. Have a schedule on when you are going to workout, what type of workout, and your calories/macronutrients for the day. Having these actions already planned out helps keep you accountable even on your least motivated days. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Another way to be accountable is to make your goals public. Tell your friends and family that you are working on losing weight or getting jacked. Maybe write a facebook post or find a group that you can open up in. By telling people you goals is makes the goal not just a thought in your head but a real tangible item. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ Telling people is a great way to also find a workout partner. You and this person doesn't necessarily have to go with each other (unless you want to), you guys are there to help support each other. Make sure each other is on task and keeping up with what they said they would do. It helps if you have similar goals but as long as they are both fitness goals that is all that matters. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ The best way to stay accountable is hiring a coach. Their main job is to help you complete your goal. They are joining you on this journey and ready to help you crush it. Plus once you pay some money you are more likely to keep with your goal and work even harder to complete it. ⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀⠀ If you are serious about completing your fitness goals use some of these tools to help hold you accountable because there will be days
