Green tea anyone? When I used to work in an IT company I used to see a lot of people sipping on green tea with the dreams of having a slimmer waist without giving a worry about what they eat regularly, how their lifestyle really is, their activity levels and habits took a back seat while green tea nicely sat warm on their desks, sips after sips till the dustbin below was full of tons of empty cups. Read the points mentioned if you need to know the basics about green tea and it's effect. 🍵 Comment a friend you would like share this information with. 😁

It's been almost 3 years since a started my fitness journey for the 50 Millionth time, you can see in the first picture I had given up . I was tired of being tied & unhappy in my body, not having energy, not enjoying life . . . . 3 years later , I am still going Strong in my fitness lifestyle. Who knew all I needed was Support, Accountability, a simple routine to follow & Women who were doing it with me. . . In the past 3 years I've gained Confidence, Selflove, & the most important Self Worth. I've worked hard on my fitness but more on my mindset & unlearning shit I was taught. I'm so grateful my coach came into my life when she did & I love I have found passion & purpose in helping others Transform their lives .

Tuesday evening bench press. Age: 62, bw: 162 lbs Week 5/3/1 on the @jimwendler 5/3/1 142.5 lbs x 5, 160.0 x 3, 175.0 x 2, 142.5 x 5 Okay, I was supposed to do 180.0 lbs on the last lift, but since I knew I could only get one, I decided to do 175.0. With 175 I could get more volume. I got 2 reps x 175 easily. Maybe I could’ve gotten 3, but I would’ve been zonked afterwards. I’m really happy with my lifting today because I felt stronger and really energized. So energized that I did a FSL. As I was contemplating my upcoming 175.0 lift, the boys put on a John Lennon song. The lyrics made me think about my lifting. People say I'm crazy Doing what I'm doing Well, they give me all kinds of warnings To save me from ruin When I say that I'm okay, well they look at me kinda strange "Surely, you're not happy now, you no longer play the game" When I started lifting heavier weights and people saw I was serious about this sport, they became very concerned for me. You’ve heard the warnings. You’re not young, you know. That’s a young person’s sport. Hey, I know someone who heard of someone who got an aneurysm lifting heavy weight. If you do deadlifts, you’ll end up destroying your back. What if the bar falls on you and crushes you? Geez. I don’t know if they were genuinely concerned for me or if they were justifying in their own minds why they don’t lift weights. Even when I assured them that I was on a specific program @startingstrength , I never maxed out. I lifted with safeties, and I did the little things to make my lifting successful. It didn’t matter. They still thought I was crazy. Well, I’m not crazy, and I refuse to play the game. I won’t eat a standard American diet. I won’t become a vegan. I won’t take statins, and I won’t become a couch potato. I will lift heavy, eat keto, eat a lot of meat, do a brisk walk often, and give God the glory. Each day that I can do these things is a blessing from the Lord. Don’t play the
Learning to take small steps daily. I first find/think of something I want. I don’t need a lot of passion, I only need sufficient desire to get started. Next I take a smart step as quickly as possible toward that goal. What’s a smart step? It’s one where I have to act quickly with the means at hand. What I know, who I know, and anything else that’s available. Next I should reflect and build on what I have learned from taking that step. You need to do that because every time you act, reality changes. Sometimes the step you take gets you nearer to what you want; sometimes what you want changes. I learn something everytime I pay attention. Finally I repeat. Repeat. Act. Learn. Build. Repeat. This is what defeats uncertainty…providing that you actually start and try to make your idea a reality. Comment " YES " if you agree. Sexy isn’t a size. Your beauty isn’t measured in pounds. Eating isn’t a war. The mirror is not the enemy. If you want to fight for something, fight to be healthy. Fight to make your body move every single day. Fight to take a few steps more today than you did yesterday. Don’t fight your mind. Don’t fight with food and don’t fight the scale. You are beautiful. 😘
