Can you tell yet?! 🤪) I have always wanted to be able to wear something like this and never felt like I could....until now. I guess I lacked the confidence and maybe felt like I would look like a ho in them! 😂 Anyway, I was a bit apprehensive buying these online because I don’t exactly have twiggy legs, but they fit perfectly! Yay!! I will readily admit that I buy a lot of my shoes and clothes on Amazon for several reasons. One, I really hate malls and crowds. I get completely overwhelmed in departments stores. I’d rather buy online and have free shipping. Two, I am a cheap ass and refuse to spend a ton of money on one item of clothing. Some days you’re too exhausted to move and you stay in all day in PJs and messy hair because you physically cannot manage anything more - and THAT’S OK!  I haven’t worked out or gone on a walk today as my body has not let me - instead I’ve focused on eating as healthy as I can and drinking enough whilst actively resting (easier said than done with baba!  So I thought I’d use my social media platform today to talk about something I’ve become quite passionate about since having Ariya and that’s BREASTFEEDING in PUBLIC. I had the very unfortunate experience of being told not to breastfeed in a shopping complex (by 2 separate staff members I might add) and instead take baba to my freezing cold car to feed her and with the lack of sleep and hormones I was to emotional to fight back at this illegal behaviour at the time and instead had a mini-anxiety breakdown. I’m very fortunate that I had the support and found the strength inside myself not to let that knock me and stop my breastfeeding journey but to say it didn’t have an affect on my anxiety would be a lie!  It’s a real test on your entire being when you become a mummy, with you facing the most challenging but most rewarding situations of your life. You’re entire outlook on life changes and all your reasons for doing things e.g. I now workout to look after myself so I’m here as healthy as I can be for as long as I can be for my little girl.  Happy Monday All. Today We are featuring our favorite Post by @ rockon_keto_rn - Spent some time cleaning out my closet last night. When I found the 18s from Torrid (largest pair in this photo) I was like HOLY SHIT. I remember when I bought them, I was SO excited they fit, because when I started, 18s (in a different, more forgiving brand) were TIGHT but I’m a stubborn ass so I refused to buy larger. I was uncomfortable in jeans and uncomfortable in my body/skin. When I got these they fit my shape better (not like the mom jeans I was wearing) and I was excited to be going down. Pictured, in order: size 18 Torrid, size 16 Torrid, size 14 Torrid, size 10 Torrid, and size 8 American Eagle. I haven’t been able to fit into anything at American Eagle since high school! THIS IS WHY it’s so important to take photos and look at other NSVs! When I look in the mirror, I still pretty much see the same thing I saw when I was wearing the 16s. I put a bunch of clothes in the DONATE box, but those 18s are staying here. They’re my reminder of how far I’ve come, and of where I’m never going back to. •

I went swimsuit shopping and fit into a large - comfortably and confidently!! Yes I have a lot of loose skin and a lot more weight to lose but I will get there! I’m not diabetic and that was my main concern when I started losing weight. You can do anything you set your mind to! Love yourself  and thank you so very much to all my supporters!! Today We are Featuring our favorite Post by @ keto.coco - Tuesdays are for transformations, and personally, I just love the days when I get to use a previous "after" photo as a "before" photo.  There's something so exciting about seeing how far I'd thought I was already at that point, and just how much farther I've gone since.  Going further, one of my absolute favorite transformations has been to see my style evolution.  People have always complemented me on my style - and while I appreciated their kindness, it didn't resonate with me because: - 1. I didn't think they were sincere. - 2. I dressed the way I did as a way to hide my body. - 3. I dressed the way I did because those were the clothes available to fit my body, not necessarily the clothes I actually wanted to wear/things that were my personal style.  It's been very difficult, actually, trying to determine what my personal style truly is. It's been fun to experiment with different looks and aesthetics that I would never have felt comfortable in before.  And while a button down shirt and a pair of skinny jeans might not seem like a drastic style choice, that they are even an option to me means more than I can possibly express. - - - - Before Picture: •January 2018 •203 lbs •Size 16/18 pants •Size XL/1x top •5 months keto - After Picture: •January 2019 •156 lbs •Size 8 pants •Size XS/S top •17 months keto - FAQ: •I'm 5'11" •No exercise (not that it's not good for you, I just didn't to lose my weight) •No loose skin •Daily IF 16:8 (ratio of fasting hours to eating hours) -
Today We are featuring our Favorite Post by @ how2mealprep - One Sheet-Pan Garlic Butter Salmon + Red Potatoes 🍋😍 { This salmon recipe is super quick to put together and even faster on the clean-up duty, thanks to our one-sheet pan method.  We love serving this salmon for a quick dinner, but it's equally as great for prepping ahead a few lunches to take with you as your food prep throughout the week. Feel free to double or triple this recipe to fit your family size...just use 2 large sheet pans instead, so there isn't any overcrowding because those potatoes need space to crisp up! }  makes 2 servings Ingredients: 2, 6-7 ounce skinless wild salmon fillets 2-3 medium red potatoes, diced into small 0.5" bite sized pieces sea salt and fresh ground black pepper, to taste 2 Tbsps clarified butter, or ghee melted 3 fresh garlic cloves, minced or pressed 1 tsp chili flakes, or to taste 2 Tbsps chopped fresh parsley leaves, to garnish  Instructions:  Preheat your oven to 400 degrees f. and line a baking sheet with parchment paper.  In a very small bowl add melted butter with minced garlic, chili flakes a pinch of sea salt and pepper. Whisk vigorously to emulsify.  On a baking sheet, arrange potatoes in a single layer. Drizzle with half of the garlic butter mixture and toss to get them all coated. Roast in your preheated oven for 8 minutes. Remove the pan from the oven and arrange the salmon in between the potatoes.  Brush with the remaining garlic butter mixture. Bake for 10-12 minutes or until salmon is cooked through and flaky. Garnish with fresh chopped parsley and enjoy! Keep refrigerated in air tight glass containers for up to 3 days. Enjoy! ❤by

I've decided to throw that freaking thing in the garbage and strictly measure my progress based on how I feel, how my clothes fit me, and how many inches I've shed. Keto family, don't be too hard on yourself. 1 pound loss or 1 inch loss IS STILL PROGRESS, higher energy levels, minimizing on your snacking for 1 day IS STILL PROGRESS.. celebrate the small victories, eventually they become great ones.. . . . . . .

My hubs and girls who loves me no matter what shape or size, but who help me to be better. My kids learning about a healthy lifestyle while living one. My progress. Seeing my transformation in photos like this, motivates me.  Remembering back to the beginning and how I used to visualize my future self, just getting into pre pregnancy clothes. How I’ve actually far surpassed my initial goals still shocks me to this day. Feeling better about myself, having more confidence and positive body image as well as being energized and focused. Getting stronger, and challenging my body to do things it’s never done before, and what I definitely didn’t think it was capable of at 31.5 years young 😉. Fitness wasn’t something I went seeking, wasn’t something I loved, it was something at best I tolerated. But between  and  I found what works for me, a fitness and lifestyle I LOVE. That’s one of the biggest motivators. Feeling like I own each day and I am in control (most of the time🤣). Feeling my gains, mentally and physically. Also, sharing this experience with all of you girls, and having you relate and helping you to see anything is possible through my journey, because seriously- If I can do it, SO CAN YOU. 👊🏻 . 👩‍👧‍👦Calling all Mums👩‍👧‍👦 If your a mum you will agree with me when I say we have a never ending job. Looking after the kids, doing the shopping, cleaning, running a house hold and possibly holding down a job aswell. My life is hectic running after my 3 children all ages under 5 years. If I’m not doing the school run I’ll be changing nappies or feeding the baby - but we can’t run on being empty, we MUST look after ourselves aswell. I never thought this was possible as just didn’t have the time to make healthy meals until I was introduced to Herbalife. Since starting my plan it has slotted I to my life like a dream. I’m full of energy & feel great. All the tasks I have to do is made that much easier knowing I’m getting the right nutrition my body needs to function at its best. It makes me more aware of my food choices and has naturally adjusted me Into a healthy lifestyle.  Since achieving my own results I have now inspired others to look after their own health. This has then lead to me building my business and I now earn an extra income from this - how insane is that. Getting paid to help people. Today we are Featuring our favorite Post by @ fithealthyrecipes - Creamed Spinach Tortellini This looks soooo delicious!! Sub ingredients to fit your needs or enjoy as a cheat meal! By ~ 1 pound of stuffed tortellini, cooked & drained (use your fave) 2 tablespoons of flour 1 1/2 cups of half & half 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1/2 teaspoon of roasted garlic powder 1/2 teaspoon of fresh ground black pepper 1/4 teaspoon of nutmeg 1 cup of parmesan cheese 4 ounces of room temperature cream cheese 1/2 cup of smoked gouda cheese 16 ounces of frozen spinach, thawed and drained a pinch of red pepper flakes In a saucepan, over medium heat, melt 3 tbsp butter. When the butter is melted, whisk in the flour and cook for about 90 seconds until the flour taste has cooked out. Then, add in the half and half and stir well to combine. It’s a good idea to make sure the heat is on high at this point and as soon as it starts to thicken, lower the heat back to medium. Add in all of the other ingredients except the tortellini and stir occasionally to combine well and to prevent from sticking. Once the sauce is thick, toss in the pasta and serve.  For the shrimp! 1 pound jumbo shrimp, cleaned 1 tablespoon of Old Bay Seasoning 1/2 teaspoon of salt 1 1/2 tablespoons of olive oil Toss the shrimp together with the olive oil, salt, and Old Bay. Get a skillet hot and then sauté the shrimp on both sides until they’re cooked through. Serve immediately. ~

Today We are featuring our Favorite Post by @ fithealthyrecipes - Garlic Butter Steak and Potatoes Skillet By ~ This easy one-pan recipe is SO simple, and SO flavorful. The best steak and potatoes you'll ever have! ~ 1 1/2 lb (650g) flank steak, sliced against the grain 1 1/2 lb (650g) baby yellow potatoes, quartered 1 tablespoon olive oil 3 tablespoons butter, divided 5 garlic cloves, minced 1 teaspoon fresh thyme, chopped 1 teaspoon fresh rosemary, chopped 1 teaspoon fresh oregano, chopped Salt and fresh cracked pepper Crushed red chili pepper flakes, optional The marinade  1/3 cup soy sauce 1 tablespoon olive oil 1 tablespoon hot sauce (we used Sriracha) Fresh cracked pepper  1. In a large bowl, combine the steak strips with soy sauce, olive oil, pepper, and fit hot sauce. Set aside to marinate while you cook potatoes.  2. In a large skillet over medium-high heat, mix 1 tablespoon olive oil and 1 tablespoon butter. When butter is melted, add potatoes. Cook for about 4 minutes, stir and cook an additional 4-5 minutes until potatoes are golden healthy and fork tender. Transfer to a plate and set aside.  3. Keep the same skillet over medium heat and add remaining 2 tablespoons butter, garlic, red chili pepper flakes, and fresh herbs. Lay the steak strips in one layer in the skillet, keeping the drained marinade for later. Cook on each side for 1 minute each, until nicely browned – adjust timing depending on how you like your steak recipes.  4. Right before the steak is done, you can stir in the reserved marinade if you like, and cook for one minute. Add the potatoes back to the pan and heat through. Adjust seasoning with salt and pepper if necessary.  5. Remove from heat and serve immediately, garnished with more crushed chili pepper, fresh herbs, and a sprinkle of parmesan cheese over the potatoes if you like. Enjoy!  Note: You can precook the potatoes in boiling salted water for 8 minutes before browning them. This will accelerate cooking time in the skillet

I had 4 babies in 5 years (1 via csection), I ended up with a 3-4 finger ab separation or Diastasis recti, an umbilical cord hernia, and I lost 48lbs after baby . I felt pretty hopeless that I could be fit again after my 4th baby. . . ❤️Now that I am on this side of my journey I can say that yes the outward physical changes are rewarding BUT more than anything, I celebrate the journey of Reclaiming myself again....the Kelly that was always inside of me...that little girl version of myself that I stuffed away, that I didn’t have time to nurture. To me, this is the greatest gift I received on my journey...finding who I am and the inner changes. . . When I was a newer mom, with 4 little ones age 5 and under...I lost myself like many moms do....I was just surviving the chaos 😫😆. Today we are Featuring our Favorite Post by @ pwr_jess - 👆🏻 Actual footage of my reaction to someone trying to tell me what I should do with MY body. . “You looked better before.” “You’re too muscular.” “You look like a man.” “You were fine before, why did you change?” . I see these comments all the time. And they’re always in response to photos of women and most of the time it’s women making the comments. Stop. Just stop. . I share my progress photos to inspire other women and to show that with hard work and dedication, you too can reach your goals. I don’t share them in an attempt to get feedback about what I should do with my body. . Health and fitness go beyond aesthetics. I work out primarily because of the way it makes me feel and what it has done for my mental health. Something you can’t see in a photo. I have no desire to ever compete, but I follow some female bodybuilders and have immense respect for what they do and how hard they work, even if it’s not my goal. .  Just because someone does something differently than you doesn’t mean it’s wrong. Just because someone posts a progress photo doesn’t mean their body and choices are up for debate. Just because you think someone looked better before doesn’t mean you have to actually type it out and hit enter. Less tearing down. More building up. ✌🏻

Mumfit Monday - . I see them all the time. The grounded, organic Mummas, who look like lineal descendants of Mother Teresa. They are baby wearing with rainbow slings, toddlers in close tow and the patience of a Saint. Calm voices, hippy pants, celery diets and yoga hair. And skin. And posture. . They make mothering look so natural. . Then there is me. I'm about at the undone point most of the time. For some reason I can't juggle two children and a nappy bag. I'm forever flailing at checkouts, dropping things at swimming lessons, dragging towels at the beach, chasing umbrellas in the rain, yelling at one child to slow down and begging one to speed up. Yanking my pants up, pulling my shirts down and trying to find dignity and togetherness behind a smile. . I never feel like I made the grown up transition to motherhood and still like to celebrate all things from my youth, including partying with my husband like we will be 25 forever. I'm incredibly disorganized, rushing to school, appointments, coaching, or just plain late. I miss things, RSVP to parties on the day of, still don't know most of the children in my son's class and daughter's preschool, let alone the parents. Everyday the lunchbox looks the same. And I absolutely bribe my children with chocolate. . I look at those serene Mummas in their floaty linen and feel small. . But yesterday one of those Mummas told me that she asked my son if he liked school and he replied, 'Yes, but I like pick up time and the weekend the best. Because I miss my Mum.' . I did my best to not cry in front of her. I might feel small and be my own kind of organized chaos, but in my children's eyes I am big and everything that their Mum should be. . There is only one right and perfect Mother for our children and that is our own selves.
